"European sites have already received the retail copies, but they can't play online because the servers aren't up yet."
So he's played less than half the game (don't tell me you can do everything in the multiplayer part of the game in the same time it takes to beat the single player portion) and based his review off of that then?
So you're saying that with over a month till the game released, they've already played the retail version of the game and based their review off of that?
Very nice deal for those that have yet to pick it up.
Hey look, the people with one bubble are coming out... And I wonder why they're down to 1...
As for the review, over a month away till the game is released (4/12/2011) and they some how got a full retail copy of the game...
Edit: "Anyway. Very accurate review. Very disappointing just like Killzone3." Over a month till it releases and you've beaten the single player and played the multiplayer for a while to know that?
On the PS3, maybe. On the PC, it should be fine. Only thing is, they won't do it.
"we think that the most fun you can have is when it’s between 32 and 40 players" So the people buying the game that think 256 players would be fun are just wrong then?
I would care if it had English subtitles / text. Loved the anime, sad the game won't be coming here :(
Curious if they were even trying or if they're reviewed other FPS. "In practice the game ends up being 'run from A to B, shoot lots of guys and continue'. No puzzle solving ..." That describes like every FPS this gen pretty much...
I've seen some pretty good engineers running around with the STA3 LMG kicking a$$. Insane fire rate and nice accuracy on that thing.
p.s. Think the turrets are weak, ever use a medi droid? Thing does sh!t for damage. At least turrets at rank 3 get rockets which can 1 shot people when caught off guard.
I disagreed because the game is fun and not even close to being the biggest let down this gen.
I'll play my medic again after the patch, my sniper is better at protecting / taking objectives for now. "KZ2 had like double xp if you killed someone within the designated area around the current objective." If you complete an objective / take a territory / etc, you get double xp for 60 seconds.
As for balance, it is decent atm. Its all about teamwork to win. If you have people thinking they're 1 man armies, then you'll lose every time. Once the me...
"your not a developer so your opinion doesn't mean jack shit" Neither are you, so I guess your opinion means jack sh!t as well.
One bubble and you're saying "here come the fanboys...."? The sales aren't that bad at all. Also, sorry for Sony having multiple exclusives for each genre to cater to various tastes?
Yep, the only thing I had a complaint about was the on-rails space crap at the end. Up until then it was fun. Loved the fight in zero-g, dead bodies floating everywhere and grenades getting chucked like a mile away.
Most people only tend to look at full retail games when they discuss exclusives. As for DL games, only one I'm waiting on is Under Siege. Was suppose to be out a month or 2 ago...
Not everyone plays multiplayer or has their PS3 connected to the internet. Notice "So far I'm still enjoying the SP, I will be jumping online at the end of the week." I myself didn't play really any multiplayer till the end of the first week, was too busy playing the SP and working.
Didn't you know, press kits end up on ebay, not in stores.
I agree with the first and last sentence. The middle makes no sense at all. "Used game sales generate more new game sales and it's not right to try and stop the used game market". How do used game sales generate more new game sales?
The developers aren't getting a cent of the money made from used game sales at all, only the companies like Gamestop are. Hell, if everyone buys the stuff new, the developers won't turn enough of a profit to make a sequ...
The KZ3 DLC was if you preordered the game, it was free. Every retailer had that promotion so it wasn't locked to just Gamestop or such like some promotions do. So if you bought the game used and wanted to play the levels, ta-da, it'll cost you only $5. The DLC they having coming out later on, guess what, its not already on the disc and its not day 1 DLC.
ME2 was similar. You get all the DLC for free if you bought the game new, which was done to get people to not ...
And she's virtual, so you have a chance :P
Seeing as its not a "movie game", hopefully they do the lore justice.
