You do realize there's a difference between DLC that has no bearing on the story (like an extra mission or hideout that has no impact on the overall story, a la Red Dead), versus the intro to a game (/ bridging the gap between the first and 2nd games) and extending the ending of the game.
Yep, Yamauchi said it was a game for car lovers. Why wouldn't it have a ton of cars in it? Also, I love the class of PD, I don't remember seeing an article ever about them bashing the competition. Some devs need to learn to just let their games do the talking and stop bashing others, it just makes them look pathetic and scares their customers off.

For $12, its more than worth it. The online and offline co-op is sweet as well, one of the major things people tend to complain about these days for DL games.

As for the game, it is good. Play with the lights off and surround sound on. Sh!t is creepy when all the lights go out around you and you hear cans being kicked and zombies moving around in the dark.

Yah, I've reported a bunch of little bugs and problems I've had. Hopefully they get fixed. Overall, the game is pretty fun.
