Totally. Getting. This. Game.

It isn't just the controls. It feels like the whole demo was pieced together from the PS2-era and given a facelift.

Just because something worked in the past, doesn't mean it will work again in the future; and slapping a slick coat of pixels on a last-gen game isn't fooling anybody.

Leaving the game mostly as it was in the last installment might please hardcore fans of the franchise - but the vast majority of us were hoping for something a tad more up-to-date, C...

Does anybody remember how this console war started? Sony WAS building for MS, MS didn't honor their agreement with Sony; Sony got pissed and made their own console in retaliation and vowed to fight MS in the gaming market.

So I don't think it's likely that they'll collaborate AGAIN, after what happened last time.

I was initially interested; and even forked out some $ for snazzy new stuff - but now, I don't even log on. Why?

Because there's nothing to do. I'm bored with it. You can talk about "oh, there's great stuff coming" and "it's still a beta, after all"...but it's been a beta for over 2 years, and I've yet to see anything truly 'great' about it. Keeping it a beta indefinitely is feeling more and more like an excuse.

If this were a developer and an...

Think I'll give this one a miss when it makes its way to PS3. Dead Space is waaay scarier. Controls better, too, and the graphics are excellent. Can you say 'strategic dismemberment', kids? I knew you could! ^_^

Yup, shift 5 gets you to a Capcom page with the word-theme 'Kijuju' and a wall covered with insane scrawlings and the numbers 1-5...you can scan it more in-depth with an animated candle to see if there are any secret messages (I've found a couple already, but they don't seem too significant).

It's never too early to learn from your mistakes and start planning for the next gen. Sooner they do, the further along they'll be down the road, no?

I call phony only on the release date - likely we won't see it til' 2014, though we'll probably hear about it officially sometime in 2011/12 just to get the hype going.

Economically, using scaled-down CELL cores in higher numbers is the most plausible part of this article - developers wouldn't have to learn a new archi...

When I keep hearing the same thing over and over, it loses some of its meaning. All the PS3-iz-ded articles that came out took on a 'boy who cries wolf' feel - while the comparative silence on the 360 became somewhat ominous.

So, by contrast, when a rare '360 might be doomed' article pops up, I tend to take it far more seriously. The evidence is certainly more compelling.

What, Microsoft couldn't find one of their own laptops to do the ad? Puh-LEEZE. It's an obvious attempt at viral marketing. So is the fact that the ad is terrible.

"There's no such thing as bad publicity."

Do yourself a favor...don't fall for it. Cease, at this very moment, to think of or discuss this epic fail, ever again. Don't even watch the video; curiosity is overrated and often ill-advised.

All I know is it was supposed to come out 2009, and now it isn't going to happen for another year and a half. GRRRRRR! X(

Micro$oft, $ony, $quare Enix... you can ALL bite my shiny metal ass for this one. I won't even care about it when it comes out now. So there.

Which makes me wonder: do delays end up costing developers money?

..I don't know, but I really hope so.

Your government is steadfastly and unwaveringly deciding what is good for you! Soon you'll never have to make a choice again, because you won't have any!

Your government is working tirelessly to ensure that those troublesome freedoms you suffer from will be eliminated by 2020 - the government will shoulder those burdens, allowing you the lifestyle of the autonomous, pre-programmed robots that we all aspire to become!

People of China, unite! You have nothing to lo...

That's about the only way I'd ever pick up a 360 - if you offered it to me for free. I guess that strategy's worked out for MS...sort of..

Home's sold over $1 mln in micro-trans...I don't think they're going to start charging for the core service when keeping it free has worked so well.

The XBOX fans laugh at us for buying virtual furniture, but the fact is micro-transactions pay off as an incentive to expand the network and provide more services and features. It ain't a charity, after all - Sony is a corporation like any other and they'd like to keep making profits. I just happen to like the way they go about it,...

The only company that hasn't engaged in this sort of polite bashing is Nintendo (as far as I know). And they're out front in sales, so I guess they don't have to.

Anyway, how is this sales technique 'bad PR'? Touting your product's virtues and comparing it to the competition? Seems pretty standard to me. I don't hear anyone complaining when Bounty compares their towels to the leading brands...

Besides - while you might question their motives in pointing out cert...

Where the heck was this guy playing it? On a construction job site? Maybe plugged it into a generator and got some killz in on Resistance 2 in between fitting slabs of drywall and sanding the ceiling? Used it to prop up a few stacks of fiberglass, perhaps?

Warranties don't cover user negligence or willful stupidity. Might as well toss it in the ocean and complain about water damage. I'm surprised Visa considered refunding this guy's money at all.

Ruining Home? You can't be serious. What's there to ruin?

The bubble pop game? The dance platform that plays the same crappy music over and over? It's because Home is so damn boring that people like me (and the folks at GamesRadar, as per the article) have to find ways to keep it interesting.

Ruining it? I might just be one of the people saving it.

I don't rely on Metacritic ratings when I decide whether I want to buy a game or not. Never have. And I don't know anyone else who does, either.

So I honestly don't get what the fuss is about. Let the babies have their bottle - getting all hot n bothered over something so stupid is exactly the response they're looking for.

9. Sit down next to somebody and carry on a classic espionage conversation. ("Did you bring the stuff?") Then run away screaming "You sold me out!" when somebody else gets curious and walks up.

10. Agreeing and disagreeing when seated in front of somebody who is standing (use the clipping issues to your advantage) looks decidedly dirtier than the 'boob grab' trick. Add your favorite porn movie dialogue - voila, instant crowd of laughing and pointing onlook...

Kinda sad that this is how we entertain ourselves in Home. But lacking an entertaining environment, I suppose we have to find our fun wherever we can... o_O
