I think Mass effect going to PS3 would hurt MS.
The reason is that at the moment MS can claim that the ME is and exclusive IP. If it goes to PS3, this breaks that image and there fore when the next Mass Effect comes out people will be deciding which system they want to get it on.
Plus if the PS3 version is cleaned up of the short commings on the 360 version, then people might turn to the PS3 version on the next one.
Well they still have the data.
Give it a bit of polish, put it on a BlueRay disk and Wa La.
OK, maybe a bit more work than that, but the theory is sound.
MS don't mind the rumors about games like MGS4 going to their system because if people think that it is, they might wait to see it come out and there fore not buy a PS3 to play it.
MS don't say anything about it, so no one can turn round after a long time a say Hay you told us it was coming out on your system.
They probably mean Halo Wars.
They could always start a new story line with one of the other characters.
Yeah, skip the foreplay and get to the good stuff!
MS shouldn't kick you off the system because of this.
If you change the casing and void your warrenty, then fair enough...but kicking you off the system is harsh.
Mind you, when they want to force you to use their softwar, and buy their add ons and use their hard drives....maybe it isn't surprising.
Cool idea.
But yeah, you can see the different screens.
there are even little dark marks going off the edges of each screen in the middle of the picture.
Well, it'll be fine if your looking for one player to play all your old HD-DVD disks.
I expect they will.
But imagine the slap in the face paramount would get if Pirates copied transformers from HD-DVD to BlueRay disks and sold it as BlueRay...that would take all their sales. so in the end paramount would get nothing out of their deal with HD-DVD.
MY PSP should be arriving in the post any day now...*Rubbing hands with glee*
Hello, Paramount, This is Michael Bay. FKN told ya !!
There are a few I want as well, but I will be getting them on Blueray or not at all.
God NO!
I buy Logitech products so I can stay away from MS.
Plus Logitech make good mice.
This sucks!!!!
I hope this isn't an indication of Bills hopes of making mice and Keyboards a thing of the past.
How sad would you think your friend was if you went round to his place and saw that in his living room?
Do the older players still play the actual movie on 2.0 Blauray disks?
The only thing I think they'll miss out on are the new features...but they did have them to begin with, so as a long as they can play the movie which is all I get films for. Then does it matter?
Also, if the player needs a software update...couldn't they just put the software required on each disk and run from there if needed?
This game has been bobbing along under the radar abit...I didn't even realise it was this close to release that people were doing previews.
It look a bit close to Haze, but I really do hope this does bring something new to the table.
You can buy them online.
In the UK, I have not seen any cards in the shops, but I have seen them on Play.co.uk and Game.co.uk
Everyone knows this game was made for Multi player, I don't know why people make such a fuss about the single player game as it is basically there to train the users and familiarise them with the maps.
Maybe if the single player portion wasn't there, the game might have scored higher because it is what it is...but no one should blame Epic for trying to put more content into the game.
Cool, now I'll know what its like to have someone punch me in the guts.
