2007 was an alright year for Sony.
The sales of the PS3 were on par with what the 360 did in its first year and the game library is expanding all the time.
Seeing as it didn't have any of its big hitters, its done very well in deed.
On the lead up to Xmas people were saying that the PS3 was going to be buried, but in the end with a price cut, new model, and a few new games it held its own.
On top of BlueRay winning, 2008 is looking to be a very promising year.
I recon, it is a bit of a slut site for that.
Games first, BlueRay player second.....both awesome!!!!
I grew up in NZ but its been a few years since I was back.
But my childhood was quite good, and I don't remember having any problems finding stuff to do. Plus I also grew up playing games.
Now maybe things have changes over the years since then, but you have to look at when these kids are doing to end up in these situations.
Usually its more to do with the drugs and booze which is why they need the money and in turn why they might go out and commit crimes.
If they ...
Don't worry mighty_douche the first....he obviously can't get excited about anything....he has nothing to get excited about.....poor baby.
Cheers insanemcbain, your a legend.
Your prize....one bubble.
yeah, the cost production for the Cell has gone why down because they can produce a lot more of them.
Plus because Blueray is doing so well, they can save cost on mass production on that as well.
infact the last reports were the cost of production had falling below the sale price....but then again that could mean another price cut...so who knows.
I think Sony have plans to release proper PCs that use the Cell, so that will probably be more useful when it comes to putting PS3 in the class room.
Plus the whole idea of selling PS3 at a lower price than what it costs to build them is so there are more people to buy games.
While its great that it being used for science, I'm sure Sony would rather scientific institutions paid the full cost of production as they won't be buying any games.
But I'm sure they can come to s...
I was looking at it on Play.co.uk and it cost nearly £40 which is a lot. Do you think its worth it?
The customer comments there had mixed reactions about the responsiveness of the mouse and one person said you have to hit the L keys hard to get them to respond. There is some changing of the sensitivity involved to make it work right and it won't work on all games...so I'd love to hear more from people who have used this.
How does this compare to a normal Keyboard...
I will get it.
Looking forward even more now for when UT3 arrives.
yeah, I thought I'd seen this somewhere already.
Was thinking of getting it.
Anyone here already tried this?
I took a break from COD4 for 2 weeks as I over played it the other weekend. And you know what, I still love it.....so when UT3 comes out in UK I don't know what the hell I'm going to do....dare I say I won't be eating or sleeping for a while....may even have to take a few days off work sick.
Yep, I'm a new starter for this as well.
I just got MGS Mobile ops for the PSP, so I'm slowly getting into the flow of the thing.
This guy knows jack S*^t!!!
He claims that HD-DVD is region free and Blueray isn't.....thats crap!
BlueRay is also region free. You can get a BlueRay disk from anywhere in the world and play it on any BlueRay player. What sort of reporter is this guy if he can't even get his facts right!
The PS3 was a good deal when I got it on the first day...and at todays price, its a steal.
Mind you, I suspect the Mr Wada's phone is probably very expensive.
I may have to quit my job to give myself enough time to play all these games.
It will sell a million...because all your little xbox mates are going to rush out and buy a PS3 to play this.
I may not be an MS fan, but I do have an Xbox 360 and I should have to right to buy the game, in full, when I want!
paying for optional extras is one thing, but cutting part of the story out is something else. if they did something like give an odd-on as an incentive then I'd see this thing differently, but I can't get over the stunt that they are pulling here.
Zuhk - They screw you over and you thank them for it.
This is incredible, who the hell at MS thought this was a good idea.
Forcing people to preorder the game by threatening with withhold part of the story is not customer service.
I wasn't even going to get this game, but this make me mad!
I think you be right.
I mean, hopefully you only need to pay for the console once, and then enjoy. Once you have it, who cares what it costs as long as you enjoy the games.
