Now did they remember to turn on the the super white and colour options again?
I played the demo on PS3, didn't look like either screen...and I don't even know which on is the PS3 screen. I think the one on the right looks better becasue its more natural. The white pixels on the one on the left look a bit harsh to me.

It might depend on what part of the world your in.
I live in the UK and the only 360 ads I remember is the one for Halo with all the figurines in a freeze frame of a battle and the only thing that moves (besides the camera) is Master Chiefs hand. The other one was for Bioshock.
For PS3 there have been ads for the system its self (different for the one you guys in the US got - I prefer your one because it actually shows games). But there have also been ads for heavenly sword and ...
It is long over due.
If someone was trying to decide which console to get and felt that they don't want to pay for on line service, then theres only one way to go.
Also, it covers the cost difference between the two consoles.
It hasn't come out outside the US yet, which is where most of the PS3 market is.
I will be getting it when it comes out in the UK next Month.
As the sale will pickup later on in the year with the other releases, I'm sure UT3 will be one game that people will be picking up.

The devs that count are proving that the PS3 can be programed for and now dev are starting to do the development on the PS3 and porting it over to the 360.

With an attitude like that, its no wonder the rest of the so called world turns it back on the 360.
Each contry has millions of people in it...its well worth putting a different language into the game, they don't need to reprogram the thing, just put in different text and sound bytes.
Well you do have to remember we got a lot of reports of HD-DVD thing when Blueray won, and PS3 has been enjoying a lot of good news over the last few weeks.
If the 360 fan boys want to look back at last years sales to make them selves feel good, then let them.
Lets see what a difference a year will make on Resistance from when 1 came out and when no. 2 comes out to measure how the use of the PS3 hardware is growing.
Now lets also see how much growth there will be from when gears came out on 360 a year ago and how it will look when no. 2 comes out.
because if gears 2 does not look anything short of sensational, it will show just how much the development of PS3 games have come in just one year.
Firstly - if you want true HD, then your going to need an HDMI cable.
Most Xboxs at at the moment don't even have a port.
Second, they could make the game in 1080 p or i or whatever, but they choose not to because it would delay release.
Third, I have an HDMI cable, so i get to enjoy it in all its glory...I thank you!
Lucky the game play and story pulls you in enough that any screen tearing you hardly notice.

As for GTSIV selling 2 Mill more....well yeah, I'm sure it will sell more....360 has the larger user base in the states, doesn't mean it won't do well on the PS3. maybe not by 2 Million, as lest not right away as its not a game that suits everyone.

We all know 2007 was Xbox's year.
This year its PS3 turn.
Every system sees improvement in its second year when its main titles come out and it has a good game library to back it up....it happened with 360, its happening with PS3.
Guess I'll be logging onto the US store again.
PS3 is catching up in the rest of the world, but it does need to work to turn things round in the US.
I'm sure things will start picking up once games like MGS4 and GT5 come out, but Sony need to pull something big to get over the fact the Xbox is made by and American company and the Live service which is probbaly big draw card for the American public.
Then again, Wii isn't American and that is out selling 360 big time!

The rest of us are not here to prop up you countries industries you know.
I'm all for getting behind your country and being proud, but people should be free to chose the console and games that are right for them.
I don't think Wii needs to worry too much about Sony to the number of consoles sold because each console sells to a very different market.
Wii is favoured more by casual gamers because they see this its control system is based on movement and this probably give more of a natural feel for people not used to controllers. plus the games are very simple (games like Wii sports for example) and are more bite size which seems better for people who don't spend hours playing games.

This coming from a guy who obviously does not own a PS3 and probably has never played heavenly sword, Uncharted and R&C.
Heres a little news for you, if you were just into games and not so obsessed about with system its on, you might actually realise there are great games on both systems.
HS and uncharted were both great games...but you'll never know that will you.....so why comment?
