As for the number of accounts, whats important to sony is the number of accounts of people buying products from them.
So if a user has a US and a UK account, chances are they only buy software from one of these accounts and uses the other for getting demos that weren't on their first site.
But with the PSN network being free to join, I expect the total number of PS3 owners who have Broadband access to be very high.
I've created a box that when ever there is a loud explosion in a game, the box will send out a big Boxing glove and punch you in the guts.
yeah, have fun with that. by the time you've finished downloading the film, you would have lost the urge to watch it, either that or by the time it finished its time for bed, or your broadband has cut off and now you can't get anything.
Me on the other hand will just put in my disk and watch it any time I want without any delay.
The two big ones I want DMC4 and UT3 we know are ready to ship, so they will be fine. As for the others, Pain is out in the US so that'll be fine and the other one I was looking at Wipeout is looking good.

I'll be getting devil may Cry 4 and UT3 when it comes out in EU in Feb....I think Wipeout is come out in fab as well.
I'm sure Sony would wonder what was up when there are more accounts on PSN that there have been PS3s sold.
I'm sure they know this happens, I'd expect they can track the serial code of each PS3 otherwise how could they ban users who abuse the network...it would work if that person could just make another account and log on again.

You could just up grade the drive, it would be a lot easier and bet a bigger drive.

usually things like hype will boost the games sales before word gets out on if its good or not.
you only need to look at Assassins creed to realise that some games that aren’t the best get better sales than other games that are built well and have a better story line.
boot times on a ps3 < 10 seconds....from what I remember seeing as I don't need to restart it that often.

Your talking about two totally different markets here.
there are things on the Wii that you like but you don't like anything that’s coming out on PS3.... like wise there are things on the PS3 that I like, but there nothing on Wii that tickles my fancy.
You can also see Wii is more family & casual orientated, where ps3 is more hard core and casual gamers.
The only way someone could get offended by the hot coffee thing is if the person purposely went about activating it.
