Because big budget film and television is a intellectually rich experience....riiiight. Its kinda like this guy doesn't look at the context of things. Video games aren't going to be like movies in that they aren't always "Cinematic" experiences. My character in Skyrim is kinda like me in real life (Sans the murder and really loud shouting) in real life I will sometimes be thrust into situations where I have no idea what's going on and why, kinda like Skyrim.
"After being boughten out from the safety of the Nintendo brand" Kinda stopped reading there.
The main people behind Rare, the people who made Rare...Rare. Left more or less at the purchase, Rare is basically just a name at this point and has been for a long time.
Manufacturing the joystick bundled with Steel Battalion was expensive and seriously hindered the games ability to get into peoples hands. Pretty simple stuff.
Rammstein and Condemned? Tool and Bioshock?
I wish I didn't click the link.
Oh please, you can't be serious. You are!? WOW! Wanna pull out the tampon? This game looks aesthetically and design wise extremely similar to SSB. Doesn't matter what platform this game came out on it was going to draw the comparison and it was inevitably going to be said that Sony seems to be following Nintendo around (Move/This game/ LBP karting etc).
I don't think I can handle much more of this place.
@Redempteur
Well, I sincerely hope that Crash is in it.
If it's any consolation the Reach screens are far more obvious in their bullshottyness. Only thing worse were the UT3 bullshots.
From the small bit of GAMEPLAY though from the Conan Voice over video and the Vidoc, it does look considerably better then H3 or HR.
I know, and I'm not disagreeing with them being that. I'm just saying from the small snippets we've seen of the game moving, it looks acceptable. The bullshots I'm sure aren't a...
..should I say it? I didn't notice how smooth things looked until you said something, feelings of disappointment.
Pretty hard pressed to think of a Halo game that didn't use in game assets and render in real time all of its videos. Of course 343 COULD throw all that out, but just going by past games I don't think we'll have that issue.
So long as something like the Bullshotted H3 screen doesn't pop up, everything should be good. :p
Delusion, it's a hell of a drug.
@Blackburn10
Sony doesn't own Crash and Spyro, unless they work something out with Activision neither will be in the game.
Also, not every character in Melee or Brawl was a universally known/loved Nintendo character.
*edit* I'm not wrong, Activision is the holder of both Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon. Not Sony, Not Naughty Dog and not Insomniac...sorry, I know it sucks. I used to think of Crash as Sony's Mario(It was the 9...
You realize different shooters can create very different experiences...right? The "Battlefield" doesn't fit with what Arena based games are.
In my mind this is the biggest thing the Vita needs.
Am I the only one who finds these "Features" kinda...superfluous? Yeah great I can go on Youtube on my Vita, either with a Wifi connection or you ponied up for the 3G edition, sounds kinda similar to my phone. It's like when Netflix support was announced for the 3DS, who views these things as make or break features when the device is built exclusively for games?

The AI isn't perfect in a game with larger environments? Wow, say it isn't so! The AI is ridiculously stupid in 99.9% of shooters.
The pace of the game is also clearly not for you, whats unfortunate is that attitudes like this ruined what Ghost Recon actually was, a long time a go. A difficult, thinking mans shooter that rewarded long forgotten things...like patience.
I agree, quick concise and informative tutorials aren't awful. It's when they feel like they drag on, that's gotta change.
Perhaps games in a series should scan for past saves and just give returning players information about things that have changed or new features.
Ahh, who am I kidding? That sounds like work.
You know we lost the Booklet magic machine, the machine that actually put pertinent information into game booklets...like controls, and what the fuck is going on in the game.
I guarantee you Mass Effect wasn't designed for children. Unfortunately for you, you're going to find that generally for a lot of adults who play games the stuff that would excite younger gamers, generally also excites adults.
What's a brainless game vs one that you find super stimulating?
