I'll believe it when we aren't still pre release. By this logic I never should have expected more from the 360 then what I got in 2005 (Shit) or the PS3 in 2006...I don't need to go into detail about how disappointing that launch line up was technically.
BINARY DOMAIN! INNOVATION! BIG BO! ROBOTS!
But seriously, there has been a handful of really good Eastern games this gen. Compare that to the NES/SNES days and the PS1 and it shows, what the land of the rising sun has shat out this generation is terrible.
Has anything come out of Japan this generation on the same level as Katamari Damacy? Creativity, Gameplay, Music, Crazy writing?
There is definitely some truth in that. Bubbles.
Options to always skip tutorials would be welcome, and I would really love to see a bit more "random" thrown into my games.
Even if it's just a tombstone that says "Here lies Link" it still made me laugh.

What Adorie said. I still pop in Star Fox 64 from time to time, it didn't spend tonnes of time watering the game down with ground combat. Kept it short and sweet.
"We're sorry, your TV requires *Blank* Chipset to run this app, please buy a new TV to run this app."
Confrontation and SOCOM 1 were the only ones to release with a Mic. By the time SOCOM 4 came out the community more or less HAD mics, Warhawk released with a bundled headset and any Blutooth headset works with the machine.
I really can't be the only one who see's this whole DLC ending thing as an incredibly, Stupid-Bad idea.
Yeah, because it couldn't possibly be people sick and tired of people thinking everything should be given to them. I don't like Online Passes, but I can also see Sony or EA's point of view when they don't want to be paying for server infrastructure that the end user didn't pay for.
Disk Locked content? Sure that's pretty bad, but I have the greatest countermand for that one. I just don't buy the game. Also like I've stated before, according to ...
Because I'm on EA's pay roll. That's the only reason, EA pays me. No other reason, no sir just that EA pays me.
Conduit 2 was a Wii shooter, Hour of Victory wasn't a launch title but it was certainly in development in that time frame, Turning point was on the PS3, as was Conflict: Denied Ops, Darkest of Days really wasn't a big budget game...
You've cherry picked some bad games sure, but your point is moot when half aren't exclusive to the platforms listed. I would also argue that all your examples are from a few years ago.
Wait, CoD has sold a lot? Well that totally forgives the game being the same for 5 years.
@Fylus
Exhibit A) The PS2... Life cycles etc
Exhibit B) You waited until 2010 to buy a PS3, if it's that important to you what happened to 06,07,08 and 09?
Exhibit C)4 years dude, really?
Remember kids, if you're white that's an instant detractor on the basketball court...you're also probably short. Which means it's the perfect analogy for the 3 consoles...
If only Michael Jordan and Scotty Pippen didn't think the retarded white kid was on to something, and weren't emulating him.
Platnetside 1 had a scale that put even MAG to shame, if anything that's why it's not coming to the consoles.
Your point about having to "restart" at the end of a console life cycle sounds kinda hollow. No one says your Xbox or PS2 can't play games anymore, and there is no reason you wont be able to go back and re visit them again.
@madjedi
The "gameplay" in the KZ2 trailer from E3 was not even close to the final game. The physics were also a billion times better then the final game. What other then the characters even resembles final KZ2?
You basically proved Lastduals point, grats.
Are...are you referring to the same thing? I really don't think you are...
Any Publisher, Developer etc etc involved with video games, DOES NOT ASK FOR YOUR USERNAME. It's account security common sense.
Me-Owth.
@PooEgg
You can't be serious, DLC on the disk sure...I'll give you that, but can you really fault EA for the games they have released this year and how they have turned out?
"Whining" is foolish, it's what children do. Do not mistake someone's silence for "Bending over" most people who don't act foolish just refuse to purchase something if the manufacturer/Producer/Develope r does something they don't like....sounds...
