Hi, I try things once around launch and if a MP only game doesn't operate like it should around launch I have a HUGE tantrum.
Slant Six listened to a lot of people's complaints and the community also had an effect on the game while it was in development. Didn't like Sixaxis lean? They gave us the Dpad lean. Couldn't see through the score board or move? They made it opaque and easy to move.
It also played much closer to SOCOM 2 then SOCOM 3 but...
This is the kind of stuff that the move will work fine in. Perhaps I'm just lazy but I got really tired of holding my arm up to aim in Killzone 3.
Of course, I've never taken a review score alone and said that's the the quality of the game. If the score says 10/10 and the text tells another story, shouldn't the score reflect that?
Your console games don't run in 1080P, and so you aren't seeing real 1080P. Upscaled 1080P is not the same and 1080P with 60 fps is wonderful, it's to bad the PS3 or 360 will never produce that from games that aren't like Flower.
The upscaler is filling in the blanks, it's not real 1080P. You can't force something like resolution, if you could the framerate would die and the game would just be unplayable. If the hardware can't do it, the hardware can't do it.

Wouldn't a rating system be broken if 10/10 didn't mean perfect? Should it not have been rated 9/10? I get what you're saying, but if you want to use numbers to RATE a game then shouldn't it be accurate?
Reading OXM or OPM is like reading Nintendo Power around the time a new Nintendo product comes out. Might as well just use it for info and not make actual purchase decisions based on them.
I'm excited for KZ3, especially after playing the beta. I just find it amusing how many of you take review scores seriously, like it actually dictates whether or not a game is fun to play.
Fun to play is why we still do this right? Killzone 3 plays better then Killzone 2, isn't that all we need to know? Beyond the craptastic voice acting and story the only thing that needed updating was the way the game handled.

You gent's don't think it could possibly be the fact that people are just BETTER on the PC version? Maybe that's why you feel you're no good with it?
I'd also love for the list of games not available on the PC that you guys are clamoring for on the PS3. All I see is a boatload of overlap and the odd PS3 exclusive worth having.(Downloadable titles don't count, big boy games only)

I've caught people gloating about their KDR's in objective modes (Not S&D, I'll concede that kills are important there.) like Domination and Sabotage.
MAG has it's moments where you could have sworn that you were behind a wall, but the bullets still managed to hit you. MAG is far from latency free, but it offers one of the most CONSISTENT online experiences thanks to the dedicated server's. Everyone who owns a PS3 and enjoy first person shooters should pick up MAG, no excuse not to now with the price cut.

Does that mean I don't need to play it to tell you that I disagree and think the story isn't as good as KZ2? (Even though anyone who paid attention to KZ2 would know that it had an absolutely awful story, and the continuity was just awful.)

If the game doesn't matter to you, why does the number matter? The scores pretty irrelevant to my enjoyment of a title, maybe you should try that.
I pre ordered Confrontation, when the networking horror had passed I found a perfectly functional HD SOCOM game for my PS3. Or are you another one of those people that just goes by internet word and doesn't try things yourself.
The game works now.
