1991? Thats a pretty early year to say PC gaming has been dead since then...
Your opinion in this case is truth.
Would Killzone 3 and Uncharted 2 look better if they didn't take place almost entirely in a corridor? Thats the question.
Similar yes, but the one part of your plan you didn't take into account is...the last 5 years of tech moving forward on the PC side.
You may continue dreaming now that the 360 can do what a PC can.
I've already traded in my copy of Killzone 3 for the PC version of Homefront. I've got a long list of complaints when it comes to Killzone3 so the trade in for me is warranted, Killzone 3 just didn't nail that "big battle" feel I had hoped for, large scale doesn't necessarily mean a big robot that just stomps around.
Parts of that trailer make me nervous, primarily the gun play but if it even comes close to that battlefield flavor I am craving, I wil...
This has nothing to do with console limitations and all console fps playing like the same critical path, heavily scripted roller coaster.
The Modern Military theme, just like any other theme for an FPS isn't dead. Just shake up what I think an fps could be: Bigger SP battlefields, developing a battle plan, executing the plan and maybe actually making us feel like we're in a war. War doesn't wait for you, but it does in KZ3 and CoD.
I don't know if they'll be able to shoehorn the vehicles in there, but hey..I can dream.
Again with the reading eh?
Where are these crazy standout moments in KZ3? All I've seen are some in game cinematics of people doing some fun stuff (The fog part with Sev and Carville back to back could have been awesome.) but I have yet to play anything that isn't super standard FPS fare.
Also the amount of blur going on is nuts.
As retarded as SOCOM Combined Assault.
By tactics you mean hide in a building so your squad can magically spawn on you.
Only thing thats tactical is either, no respawns or Reinforcement waves. Spawn killing can easily be dealt with, without the need for something like Squad spawn.
You know that number is in no way indicative of how much fun I had with the game. Reviews are references, not some kind of absolute truth that applies to all people.
Also for the love of Jebus, would you people try playing a game before passing judgement based on some percentage that really means nothing except for the importance you put in that number? Is this really that hard?
It's hard to not beat an iterative update of a 4 year old game. Sales is a whole different story, but the quality in CoD has been surpassed by other shooters pretty well every year since CoD3.
"A rifle behind every blade of grass."
I'm Canadian and I know it would be dumb to invade us, the guerilla warfare would be never ending. LOTS of wilderness to lose yourselves in etc.
America is smaller, but with a boatload more people and probably easier access to military weaponry (It's un common for someone in Canada to have a civilian assault rifle, they do exist I know) I really don't see anyone trying to invade North America until ...
I've been called a cracker, yet I don't think I personally had anything to do with the slave trade. Your inability to take a joke is pretty appalling, especially when it's so clear that it's sarcasm.
Are your feelings hurt that easily?
Hahahaha, Killzone...hardcore.
Thanks, that was really good I needed that today.
Don't whip me bro.
On the PC.
Agreed 100%, I found the dialogue in Bulletstorm hard to enjoy and the Kills to get quite boring after doing them a few times.
Whipping and kicking someone into spikes is only fun for so long.
It's just typical console only trash on this website, pay it no mind it's not worth fighting. I love it how people bring up Crysis sales when Crysis and Crysis Warhead sold better then most console exclusives.
