The influences from HL2 are more in how the cinematics are presented (Always first person). The gameplay isn't influenced by HL at all, which in a lot of ways isn't a bad thing.
Not to say HL played bad, I just wasn't always a fan of how the weapons fired.
Clear sarcasm, was sarcasm.
@SnakeMustDie
I'm not sure if you read the article but he's talking about sales, the game flopping in sales. Nothing to do with review scores.
And if you really base your game purchases off game reviews only then, woooooo you really miss a lot of fun stuff.
Thats racist!
Someone hasn't played Arma 2.
I wonder if the author realizes that a large portion of the WoW population aren't necessarily "gamers". The lazy writing about WoW being some kind of sucker is getting pretty old too.
"Oh you play WoW, you must be obsessed HAW! HAW! HAW! I'm so clever."
Thankfully a friend of mine has Black Ops on his Steam account so I've had the displeasure of experiencing this on the PC as well.
Dear Treyarch, the stutter is still there. CoDTech SHOULD NOT STUTTER!
What language is this?
That would be epic, I picked my copy of SC2 up on launch day soooo cross your fingers.
I am going to miss playing the same map and game modes repeatedly soooo much. /s

Omfg, it's running the 32bit executable of the game not the 64 bit version. Nothing to do with colour.

Agreed what was shown did look awful, even for 2005 the quality of some of the enemy zerg and marine models was awful.
I also wouldn't mind for the project to be revisited but I would really prefer if Blizzard was running the whole show.
The fact that in DX9 mode it runs at a higher framerate, level of AA and Resolution already proves that it looks better then the console versions.
Derpa a derpa derp.
Keep telling yourself that, I hope those tears keep you warm at night.
Find my a game that looks as good as Crysis, has a open environment and isn't broken into Cells like Rage, FO3, GTAIV and other console open world games.
A PC that can do far more then the consoles ever dreamed of can be had for under 1 grand. Try harder next time.
Reading is a skill far beyond a good portion of these "People".
And yet they both trail Steam by a wide margin.
How dare you say one of Sony's initiative's is a massive waste of money for consumer's.
Since PS Plus has come out their have been two free games that looked like they might have been worth the Sub Wipeout HD and Stacking, everything else has been trash or they are just PS1 games that I own already on the PS1.

Paying for discounts, what a revelation!
Btw, you don't get MAG for free it's just a 1 hour trial.
They were talking about this with the Nintendo 64, it was in a Nintendo Power.
Problem is that was years ago and I would have thought they would have realized that smell really isn't necessary.
