Two very different markets. And as an Omnigamer like many others here, it has hardly effected my purchasing habits with the console and PC games I want.
Even running games at or close to max does not require updates yearly, buy smart and maybe spend 50 dollars more here and there on certain components and you'll have something that will always run circles around a console.
Oh and my monitor is 24inch, so I run my games natively at 1920*1080. Unlike my PS3 on my HDTV that barely manages 1280*720 with no AA on some games.

Why does it matter its so short? I dont know about you, but I don't like sitting 2 feet away from a television screen. My mouse and keyboard is further away then the stock controller charge cord that comes with the PS3.
The solution of having 2 controllers kinda makes this redundant product redundant, plug the dead controller in while you use the fresh one. Why dont they integrate this kinda stuff into coffee tables or something?

People often forget that people used to pay money to buy pre mod chipped PS1's and PS2's as well as paying for burnt games (at a low price but pay for them they did!). Those consoles did fine and in most cases the developers that deserved to survive did, I don't see how thats going to change here.

Your experience is from a time when the PC games were pushed all the time. Hardware from 2-3 years ago still plays all multiplats, at a higher resolution and framerate then the consoles. I still have friends rocking LGA775 based systems from 3 years ago, and cards ranging from Nvidia 8800 series to Radeon 4800 series cards. None of them have issues running new games, clearly you're doing something wrong.

My only gripe is how people don't seem to understand that Killzone 2 had an incredibly linear level design to it. Not that it was boring or poorly done, but the game was a point A to point B affair the whole time.

Tribes 2 alone is like 9 years old, and the last real Tribes game did not have the appeal or Critical/Commercial success of Tribes 2. Hell Tribes 2 sits at 88 on Metacritic, so I really fail to see how it wasn't a critical success because it really was.
The lack of knowledge about Tribes as a franchise is far more about how the Franchise as a whole dropped off the map. If Vengeance and Aerial Assault were better products perhaps Tribes would have had a bit of staying powe...

Really? Are we talking about the same Starsiege: Tribes/Tribes 2? Hell the community is large enough to warrant a fan made relaunch of the Tribes 2 servers after they had been taken down.

Agree with everything on the list, the lack of Skies of Arcadia on that list needs to be remedied though.
One minor thing, I'm fairly positive Jet Set Radio Future; the sequel to Jet Grind Radio, is an Xbox game. Never really would have fit in a DC collection.
