Exclusive weapons? Howabout gamerpics or something that won't give players that cash in more an unfair balance.
But, Crytek is NOT making Farcry 2. It is being handled in-house at Ubisoft with an engine developed within Ubisoft.
Seems we are both a little wrong :P
It is called the Dunia engine.

Please excuse my misunderstanding. Also, it is forgivable to believe that the Dunia engine and CryEngine 2 are the same thing, they are very similar graphics/deta...
I didn't argue, just straightened some facts. Anyone who would like to call me a liar can leave a message and make a fool of themselves.
But the price is right considering the performance.
In PC gaming there are so many factors though, and like in anything, some games will run better on the ATi card and others on the nVidea.
I really hope ATi comes up with something to put them back on top, for more than the month they had with the X2.
Crytek made Cryengine and Ubisoft created Farcry.
In addition, Farcry 2 uses an Ubisoft developed engine, not Cryengine 2
Pixels and Contrast Ratio aren't the only two important factors, and most manufacturers don't really list their specifications when it comes to image quality.
Nothing is funny about this other than the awesome Don King hairdo.
Those parents are jerks.

You don't get much technologically worse sound-wise than going back to mono...
Last time I checked I believe it required Internet Explorer?
"The basics of Vista" is still Vista. You still get all the benefits of the operating system without the graphical flare.
Like I said, if you care so much about how well your computer displays graphics why would you have purchased a $400 laptop that can't even run XP without turning it down to Windows 98 graphical standards :P
All of these complaints have to do with the graphical aspects of the operating system. Not one "Vista Capable" PC can not run Vista. If it were me, I would tout computer systems that are able to run it as capable, it only makes sense.
If you only want Vista for its graphical features, there are plenty of add-ons you can get for XP, or you could just go straight to OSX.
Without Aero and the graphical additions to Vista it remains just as functional as Wind...
'Nuff said.
Because this site is messed up.
Even running Crysis it only uses 30% or less CPU on my quad core. Though, it uses each core evenly.
The first year of the Xbox 360 release few games used more than a single thread (out of six) and right now PC games are barely pushing into the dual core area.
Quad cores are pretty much for multitaskers and for programs such as Photoshop.
None of what you guys are mentioning is very impressive, it's been done before. Resistance being an exception because I haven't played it or heard anything about the AI. That kind of stuff has been the norm for almost 10 years now.
And FEAR was scripted! :P They only CLAIMED the AI was amazing. You can look it up :D
It was all scripted. They admitted to it afterwards.
If you ask me, I'd say Rainbow Six Vegas has some of the best FPS A.I. I've ever seen.
I don't think this is going to be an FPS game though...
I can't wait to find out what it is, I'm very excited, and I think games are very lacking in the AI department.
I don't know what it is, but I commend you for not being blind.
It upsets me to see you have disagrees when it is clear. In motion both games look pretty much the same and if you like the game then who gives a crap.
Every little comment that points out an obvious flaw in the PS3 gets 3 agrees a 12 disagrees.
I'll never understand it. You'd think that owning the product with the problem would cause you to be more proactive about holding the company resp...
They're a great studio, and they really care about their community.
