Who gives a crap... This is about the Xbox 360 being cheaper and has nothing to do with the PS3.
No, just the Sony fans have to attack every single article for no reason.
I mean, they're even bringing out like 5 RTS games this year... GOOD one too.
This is the first time I have owned a high-end PC in YEARS. I PREFER console gaming, and you are making an incredible assumption to think pc gaming has "blinded me". The PS2 was an over-engineered, over-thought, over-complicated machine, and the PS3 follows in it's footsteps. Sure, there's potential, but the Xbox launch games weren't as good as the final generation games... Same goes for the PS2. Same will go for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Just because PC hardware is so above and b...
Whoops, posted this in the wrong place.
Sorry, but God of War 2 may have looked and played great on PS2, but it was NOWHERE near the graphical quality of Xbox titles. Again, it is taste, the same taste that makes people say Killzone 2 is graphically superior to Crysis, or the taste that makes people say COD4 is the best looking game of 2007...
HAHAHA. That's horrible.
It doesn't matter.
Neither system is dying from bandwidth issues and PCs get by with much worse stats... Yet, outperform the consoles.
The fact that you received a disagree for that causes me to lose all my faith in N4G and, quite possible, humankind.
Rambus, a company unable to properly break into mainstream computer memory, it going to milk this for all they can.
Anybody who knows computers will tell you more memory is better than faster memory every time. For the cost of that "superhightech" Rambus chip, you could have put 2gb of DDR2.
Any PC gamers in the house?
EDIT: Wow, I like their claim that an XDR chip is able to support resolutions of 1080p for video... Hrm, I wonder why every ...
The parents are to blame. What is their excuse? "My 12 year old son should know better!" Instead, it's more like "How the hell would my 12 year old son know better if I don't even understand this crap."
Xbox Live is a very good community for the most part, and the complaint system works very well. Every complaint filed is hand-checked and you don't need to have multiple complaints to cause you trouble, depending on the crime.
The main problem ...
I love how so many people are taking this seriously...
It's kinda creepy.
'Nuff said.
Most games (like Call of Duty) tone down the gunfire far too much. Once the crap breaks loose there's not much room for anything but gunfire in real life.
I'm glad to see these guys are back into it going strong. I hope they get a lot of support.
I have already taken gamespot out of my list of gaming sites and this will make a good replacement.
Infogrames is the majority stock holder already, so they already pretty much have control over Atari.
I'm really not sure about the politics in all of this, but by owning them completely they can basically tell them what to develop I assume.
Crysis will definitely not run at Very High regardless of the tweaking you do on either console. Sure, it will still be a fun game, upgraded farcry if you will, but the experience on PC is amazing. Like you said, those who compare games like Uncharted and Killzone 2 to Crysis have no clue what they are talking about. Under no circumstances is a system making use of less than 512mb graphical memory going to power through Crysis... PC graphics cards are much more powerful than those in the c...
What nobody mentions is the crazy number of strategy games hitting the 360 this year. I can't wait for supreme commander.
Flash drives are good for low power consumption and speed. Hard drives suck power, and putting a laser on it will just make it worse. It'll probably make it much slower as well due to it's nature, and I can't imagine how you could create something like this in a reliable manner at this point in time.
Great avatar. Way to show us you're 6 years old.
