"The news isn't this.! Starfield will have microtransactions! Im not able to put the news, don't know why, but the picture doesn't appear."
The picture doesn't appear because it's NSFW. Try to keep up.
@Zeref
Is that because PS5 offers more AAA exclusives that have quality? I ask because you were singing a different tune about indies in the early days of PS4. Whatever it takes to claim a win.
"Nobody said Xbox has more exclusives. Its just that PS4 is 90% indie wannabe mario games. And Xbox One offers More AAA exclusives that have quality."

I scoop up all of the DLC.
It was great on PSVR, but the tracking was showing its age. This was at the top of my list of titles I was hoping would get a PSVR2 release, and they did it for free with upgrades.
@olMyerslo
You're conflating separate things. A majority of Sony fans among N4G users does not equal a majority of users contributing stories being Sony fans, does not equal the majority of stories being submitted by Sony fans, does not equal the Sony fans are the majority of people abusing the submission system to spread a narrative.
There was one anti-Sony, pro-MS user who was notorious for abusing the submissions and 13 stories on PS+ around over ...
That's a means to an end. You can easily point to better and older examples than MS buying or trying to buy huge 3rd party publishers that come with an existing library of popular games. The point QuantumMechanic is making is that developing is a means to get them to a point where they don't have to do it and can distribute instead.
You're being condescending with the "think critically" closer , but if we're keeping the same energy... We're ta...
Phil said what he said because he wanted people to take it how they took it. Otherwise, he would have responded to the actual criticism instead of hitting back against a straw-man argument. People are making incorrect inferences from Phil's comments because he deliberately structured his response to lead people to make incorrect inferences. He'll point out that's not actually what he said if he finds it convenient to do so, or rely on online defenders to do it for him. That's ...
@meanmallard
"It just speaks to their mindset, they need PlayStation to fail in order for them to feel like they have achieved anything."
It shows that they have no real passion for the industry. What they care about is dominating it.
"It really does come down to the games, and I find it strange that Spencer reiterated three times in that statement that making great games won’t turn anything around."
Except he didn't express that at any point in the interview, but he knew people would infer that. This is Phil playing Simon Says again.
I'm going to quote where he talks about selling games, except I'm going to call attention to certain keywords by putting them in ca...
@lodossrage
I have noticed that pattern in a few comment sections. It's because I remind the person behind the account that "Obscure_Observer" is little more than performance art serving as copium for the person behind the persona.
Obscure's last "comment," to put it nicely, is over the top, to put it mildly.
"Today Phil has the power to buy/acquire any gaming company in world who wants to be sold, and this simple fact terrifies you, makes you feel powerless and insecure, I know."
Yeah, yeah. We've heard it all before. Every criticism must be fear that the company that has stumbled in gaming so bad for the last 20 years that their CEO is cutting interview...
"Come June 11, If MS fails to impress or show me something to looking forward to in the near future, I might as well reconsider my stance."
There's that "might" again. I wouldn't bother calling this out normally. Your personal preference is your personal preference, but in the same comment you tried to police who can or cannot be critical of Xbox by holding them to your made up standard that you're trying to impose upon them.
So maybe stop trying to jump to their defense by going on the attack when they are catching grief for the situation you acknowledge is their fault. By your own admission, your comments should be taken as seriously as — Well, as a defeated fighter flailing away at air from the canvas.
"You may hate the guy for the games will not be able to play on Playstation anymore, but Phil (so far) made Xbox better and bigger and more profitable than it ever was in its history."
It amazes me how you can't help but try to throw shots at the Playstation lineup from a seated position, after being firmly knocked on your behind. You aren't in a position to throw shots at Playstation. Remember when you were (yet again) prematurely talking trash about how ...
"Imagine saving up $70 of your hard-earned money to buy a cool new video game from Steam and mistakenly buying Redfall instead."
If you were foolhardy enough to do this after knowing "years ago ... that Redfall was going to be a terrible game," you could get a refund and save yourself the time it takes to write shill articles trying to convince us Xbox still wins when it loses.
...
Before anyone tries to come with &...
"It’s also convenient to claim success on the back of a new Gamepass service-based strategy when you are getting clobbered in the only ways the video game industry has measured success historically since its inception; console and video game sales. The moving of the goalposts seems all too convenient from a business standpoint, especially when you aren’t being entirely transparent with the data to back up those claims."
That's why it's senseless for media ...
Thank you. I got tired of pointing that out.
@olMyersio
While you are correct, you also realize that comment was made in response to Obscure trying to cherry-pick Sony exclusives to advance a narrative that is contradicted by even MS and Phil Spencer. He chose a PSVR2 launch game for the 1st party exclusive, which already has an uphill battle with reviewers because some of them are skeptical or not fans of the medium itself. Still, that 79 notably beats some high profile Xbox exclusives:

"Lol. You PS fanboys are so sentimental. I said that both Forza Motorsport and Starfield MIGHT get better Metascores than both Spider-Man 2 and FFXVI in the realm of POSSIBILITIES. Learn to read and keep things in context before you got your feathers ruffled."
I caught the "might" in your prediction, but I apparently gave you too much credit in thinking you would quietly keep that in your pocket until absolutely necessary to avoid prematurely exposing ho...
@porkChop
Xbox sales were also closer to PS4 in those first two years. The gap continued to increase after the introduction of backward compatibility.
Another thing. Phil referenced Roblox, Fortnite, and Mine Craft. All of those have cross-platform play, Fortnite has cross-progression, and Roblox isn't on PS. Where is he going with this, other than to make us revisit why it is he pushed so hard for cross-play?
@MadLad (FKA) RealTedCruz
"At least when Microsoft grabs a company, I know I'll be able to play it on my PC. When Sony does I question if I'll be able to do the same, will I wait years, paying full price, and praying that it actually runs on hardware twice as powerful as the hardware it came out on."
You can change your name but not your comment history.
"This site is funny though.
In about two years I...
