You are wrong good sir. Having the choice and ability to take your games on the go is very appealing to me. I was just thinking about this the other day when we took the kids to the country club to swim. How great would it be to be able to load up my Xbox save and keep playing wherever I am. It's a major selling point to me

They would have to be independent studios. Not enough cash

2536d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

They don't have the capital (cash) for that.

Microsoft is making Scarlet capable of playing all Xbox games. From OG to next Gen. So why not buy it for the X ( most powerful box) and then just download it on the next gen. Or play it on any device in xboxs ecosystem. Xbox, PC, or Xcloud. Win win to buy on Xbox

Sony said they have around 700k subs

I'm okay with it, at least as an option. There have been about a dozen games that I have purchased due to Game Pass. I would have never have tried them otherwise. Once I find games I really enjoy on the service, I go and purchase them to own.
I see nothing wrong with this. As long as purchasing they game remains an option.

Stadia is doing that...right now.

I prefer the MS approach to the games they make vs PS. They have replayability. Sony gives me a great story and done. Back to Redbox

I am SO SICK of the winning and console war. Gamers are going to win next generation. Plan and simple.

@ Tekiz

Xbox division made 2.8 billion in profits in 2018. So it definitely worked.

Yes, absolutely. Also, he himself is a gamer. I follow him on Xbox and he's playing games all the time. Show me one Sony executive that does the same. Sony is out to try and make money from the PlayStation division, one of the only divisions it has that isn't in the red. Xbox division made 2.8 billion last year under his lead. So I'd say he has earned the trust he deserves. As a gamer and an executive.

I found it to be very repetitive. I put 8 hrs in it and quit. Might go back to it

But I only rent the one and done exclusives on my Pro. Can't download those from my phone

2553d ago 2 agree4 disagreeView comment

Honestly, you're right and wrong. I would rather play my games the best way possible. On a console that means that I've been playing the games on Xbox X with my 75" Qled 4k HDR tv, Dolby Atmos, and my couch. And no, I don't play on PC. Wow I could afford plenty of other options...like a $5k gaming rig, I like the convenience of consoles. I also have a Pro, but that is strictly used for the exclusives that I rent for it.

But he's telling the truth.

Sony didn't add much last year though. It was a mess actually. Guiding people to different venues. All to showcase games that we're already in the pipeline.
I'm sure they'll be back E3 2020. That's plenty of time to "reload".

Shit show? They showed up!!! Barely talked, just kept playing game after game. Showed new services, new hardware tease and Keanu Reeves.

2559d ago 2 agree10 disagreeView comment

Also, Xbox is using hardware acceleration for Ray Tracing. Sony is using software to emulate it. Big difference

Sony doesn't have the money to waste on showing the same games again. It showed the same games the past two years
