I agree with you in the sense that Sony has loyal fans. They remind me a lot of Apple. Fanboys blindly by the product. That being said, I think you'll see a lot of people buying both consoles next generation. Similar to the 360 and PS3 generation
Finally. Maybe Redbox will stop getting my money with Sony exclusives
Hellblade , Gears of War, Forza, Halo, Rise of the Tomb Raider, We Happy Few, Sea of Thieves to new a handful that I didn't have access to until I subbed to Game Pass. So for me....it's a great value
Look how many AAA games are on game pass. Well worth the price.
But look at the sales of iPhone. Apple has found success in creating sheep. When has there been an iPhone that has had leading innovation? Brand loyalty is a real thing and it is ridiculous
Wait, did you say a slight increase in graphics? I highly suggest you go to digital foundry on YouTube and hear what they have to say about the graphical increase. Don't get me wrong, I also own a pro. There are substantial advantages that the Xbox x has over it in the hardware department
No, I don't believe it will be. I believe fortnite will always have the younger audience. In my opinion, Apex is too aggressive for the younger crowd.I do believe the older crowd that played fortnite will probably migrated to Apex.
Crazy article. I would much rather have choices. The rechargable pack I have in my Xbox controller right now last 3+ days. At moderate play. I got pissed when Samsung went away from not having replaceable batteries
You haven't? Wow...count yourself lucky. My controller I got with my Pro hasn't died. But I only use my Pro for the exclusives I'm interested in. Now on my PS3. Played it all the time. I have 3 controllers stop taking a charge.
To be honest I don't need Xbox live on my PS4 Pro or on PS5. I would be happy with it on a console like my Xbox x or future XBox oh, and a mobile device. So either the switch or a mobile phone. Only used to PlayStation for the exclusive games I like. So Microsoft creating this huge ecosystem is a good thing in my opinion.
I was playing the demo on Xbox x in never noticed any framerate drop. Besides when I was in first person back at the base
PlayStation players won't subscribe to it. They've been saying that it is a terrible value ever since it launched on Xbox.
I have 34 on PSN and 412 on XBL. But to be fair, I only use my Pro for the exclusive games. Mainly the MLB The Show series.
A Honda Accord also sold more cars than my Porsche 911. Does that make the Accord better? Honest question
As long as those first party games aren't single player story games. They are fun, but I only play it once and it's done. Microsoft would be smart to make games that are episodic so it adds life to it. Especially with them haveing the Netflix like service with Game Pass. Would be nice to have a game that once you complete it you are still looking forward to the next season
The problem with these single player games is that they end up in the bargain bin. They really need to focus on some multiplayer games. I really want a game to not be a one-and-done. Especially for 60 bucks
As long as they continue to build their platform and add studios and services, I could careless how many they sell. Same goes for Sony and Nintendo. I'm not a share holder, so I'm here as a gamer just wanting to see more and more innovation on all platforms.
And Apple is smart phones. But...look how far behind apple actually is in innovation. It's crazy. They are just ridding the wave of the brand loyal customer. I just bought a Note 9. Not because I love Samsung or Hate Apple. I just wanted to have what I consider to be the best, most value , piece of hardware. That being said, I own a Pro. But it's my secondary console. Only fired up when I'm playing a game that isn't available anywhere else.
Games on Pro - 36
...
I want Sony to innovate. They are quickly becoming the Apple of the console space. They sell a ton, but fail to lead the market in new and innovative things. Sure..know the psvr is a step forward. But I'm talking at the core of their console. Not peripherals or extra hardware. The last BIG innovation I can think of was adding a DVD player on the PS1.
I love their games...but I'm not big on the hardware, controller, OS, and services. I understand it's all subjec...
I don't think so.
