Good. This console war BS is for the feeble minded. It makes no sense to pledge loyalty to one hardware manufacturer or software manufacturer. Or any company for that matter. Especially when it involves a hobby like gaming. You'll never see me go into an arcade as a kid and only play Capcom games or Sega games. Booooy....I play anything I find enjoyable. I could care less who made it.

Yeah but gorilla games is a much bigger studio than Ninja theory. While Horizon zero Dawn is a beautiful game it uses a lot of repeated textures and assets. Including enemies and NPCs. Not a bad thing. But it obviously cut corners to get to where they got. Rockstar didn't cut corners with Red Dead 2. Everything felt new. It was almost hard to find a tree that looked like the last.
Why did you get down votes? Everything you said was factual. Not just buying and building studios for high budget games, hut they have created a APK that all in house developers will be able to use and share assets and development tools. That means that it'll be easier to make very HIGH quality games across the board. I think Sony does something similar. Where all their Sony published games have a similar graphical style and feel.
Won't PC always be the best? Also, it's be confirmed by multiple sources that Microsoft will have the most powerful console this coming Gen. That doesn't mean that the games on PS5 won't be incredible though. Just look at The Last if Us two on the PS4.
Microsoft is gonna be making serious bank on Azure. I'm pretty sure they already are. I'm guessing Sony and Nintendo have seen the performance of this service first hand...And it must be impressive for them to partner up.
The Samsung Gear VR let's you see your surroundings. And that's a headset made for a phone. That being said, I bought the first gen PSVR and thought it was fun for a while....be it quickly became boring. That was before a bunch of these newer games and apps. When I owned it, it felt like more of a gimmick.

Why would you think so? Look where Xbox one was heading before he got control. Even though Sony sold more consoles , I believe that Microsoft did pretty well at righting the ship. Good momentum going into next gen. I love both Xbox and PS. So I wish them both success
I don't understand why it's a competition to sell more console hardware. It's about enjoying this wonderful hobby. I have found the best way to do that is by owning both. I'm currently using Xbox X for game pass, online service, cross platform games and better hardware. As for my Pro...I use it for VR and the single player games. They all have something unique to offer. Why limit yourself and your love for gaming?
Because it's a game that I continue to go back to time and time again. Has single player story (or co-op) , survival mode (horde), and competitive multiplayer. A lot more value than a game like Days Gone, Good of War, or Quantum Break. While I appreciate the stories those games tell...they are ONE AND DONE
I'll do the same as I do every generation. Buy the PS and XB day one.
I would be more afraid of those with deep pockets and those who innovate. Sony is just doing the same thing every gen, which is fine. You'll always have that kind of gamer. But Google and Microsoft have sooooo much more resources and money. They could come out of left field with something as ground breaking as the iPhone. we would have never gotten to the Moon by playing it safe. I'm glad Microsoft and Google are stepping outside of the box.

I agree with that review though. I really didn't care for Detroit become human. Great concept just not my style of game. and the part of rise of the tomb raider I enjoyed more than uncharted 4 was the fact that they kept adding content. Uncharted 4 was fantastic but at the end of the day it was still a one-and-done
I think exclusives are ridiculous. As long as companies makes great games I could care less what console holds that game exclusive. Mainly because I purchase every gaming console. So my choices of games are unlimited
