Gourmet games that you get from Redbox. At least that's where I get them
Well....yeah.
They do not have the infrastructure for smooth operations. You need major server farms and cloud computing for this kind of service. Sony doesn't have that. Microsoft, Google, and Amazon do though.
Then it would make almost every PlayStation 4 owner a hypocrite. When Microsoft announced backwards compatibility, all you heard from Sony Fanboys was why not just plug in your old system we don't want to play old games. So if Sony does this it will truly show how sheepish Fanboys are
I hope Sony can somehow figure out how the build up their infrastructure to support streaming games. Right now the only three companies I think are able to do it is Microsoft Google and Amazon. Unless Sony can rent some server farms from those three companies.
I bet you're an iPhone user as well. Happy with mediocre changes and little innovation. No matter what the medium, choices are always good to have
It really is incredible. Not sure why you have dislikes. Must be from people that haven't had an opportunity to truly experience it in all its Glory.
But...it's not the best. Good concept, but Sony doesn't have the server infrastructure. I'm certain it'll get better with time though.
I'm happy with the Sony exclusive games too...but I also find it really nice having both platforms. Can't go wrong with choices.
Thank you Microsoft for giving me the choice and option to be able to play my games on my platform of choice. Amazing.
It's funny that I got so many dislikes for not wanting to purchase a game but instead rent it
I'm gonna Redbox the crap out of this game.
I guess that depends on the person. Because personally speaking once Microsoft launched the more powerful hardware I used the X for all the multi-platform games. Now I use the pro for the sony exclusives. Not everyone is in the same boat that I am though. I invested a lot of money in a 75 in Samsung qled with Dolby Atmos surround sound. So with that investment I do want the most powerful hardware
If you've been paying attention to any of the gaming websites then you would know that Microsoft has been investing quite a bit into the next generation. even if they released first they are bringing much more to the table then a headstart. Whether their ideas and services work for them or not is yet to be determined. But there is no denying that they are coming this generation more equipped and then last
Especially "woke". Learn how to form a proper sentence.
I believe there is a major difference between a AAA title and a game like crackdown 3.
I think any game that is primarily a single-player experience needs DLC like that. That's the only reason I Redbox some of the Sony exclusives. They are incredibly fun but I will only play them once. So I would love if the games would be less of a one-and-done
Nintendo wouldn't agree to it if they didn't get a piece of the action. Smart move on Microsoft's part. Nintendo owns the handheld market. The only concern is how good will the service be? If it runs solid, great. If it's a lag fest...then not so good.
Sony is wasting their time and money doing this. this entire generation the Sony Fanboys have vocalized how stupid it is to have backwards compatibility. Time after time they have stated why not just plug in your old console. So I doubt they would want to be hypocritical and welcome this feature
At least there's replayability. The only exclusive I replay from Sony is MLB the show. The rest I rent
