In my gaming "community" there is next to no hype for this one. And we're a group of gamers that purchase a BUNCH of titles. I'm sure this game will turn out to be good...but there's just not enough of it shown to understand it and to get hyped for it.
I agree. Dr Disrespect hit the nail on the head when saying that it just looks like a bunch of ideas thrown into one game with no real purpose. I was going to buy this day one. Now I'm going to give it a few weeks to a month to see how it's received. Or maybe I might just Redbox it like I have with the past couple Sony exclusives. I wish Sony had a Gamepass like service to where I could try/play it with no risks.
You have to remember who you're talking about. This isn't Sony or Nintendo. Microsoft has some MAJOR DEEP POCKETS
So would anyone with a brain. It's a hobby. Why limit yourself to only one piece of plastic?
I honestly thought they were already a Sony studio. Best of luck to them on the acquisition. That's a big move for Sony considering how low of capital they have.
If you're referring to the Xbox X... I recommend you heading over to Digital Foundry on YouTube. Check out what the tech guys have to say. Now I own a Pro and a X...but the X is by far the better machine. Not including software in this statement...just power.
They are a power house business. You don't get that way with just wanting to fit in a market. They have the intent to dominate it. They are putting up more capital in growing and innovating the brand the past two years than Sony or Nintendo have ever even dreamed of making. Sure it costs more when you're the underdog, but it still proves they are committed.
Because the "war" only exists in Fanboys minds. Gamers, like myself, purchase all the platforms so my options aren't limited
Buy American. Problem solved
That's simply not true. I believe we as gamers shouldn't care about this "console war". What matters most to a consumer is getting quality products. And if Microsoft flexed it's wallet muscles, Sony would quiver. But as Phil said before, being successful for us doesn't mean tearing Sony down. Meaning, it's a good thing to have them both successful. Remember... we're the consumers. We are not stockholders that need to watch the market value for each company. J...
It's more money for both. And in the end, the gamers benefit from partnerships. We need to stop thinking that gaming is dividend into groups simply over pieces of plastic. Sure it's good to have competition...that pushes innovation. But partnerships like this can produce high quality services for all.
All about replayability. One and done games are rentals
It's fine now. Smooth as butter. And...it's 4k / 60fps on X
You know what's great. I don't own stock in either company. So I buy them both. Who cares who's " on top" . And if I did own stock in either one, I would definitely want it all on Microsoft. They are certainly " on top" in market value. But again WHO CARES!!!
Just buy both and play the games you want
Same. No wait and my ping is at 22. Smooth as butter
I think they are implying that they still have enough money to buy Nintendo and Sony 10x over
I don't see the need in having dedicated hardware for handheld devices. Especially now that these companies are figuring out streaming through servers with little latency. I wish all three companies could team up so we could all have the best each has to offer. Sony first party games, Microsoft with services and Hardware, and Nintendo with there software and handheld expertise.
Who are you referring to? Are the days completely gone that people can enjoy what they like without hearing from " the other side of the aisle". I mean, come on. I can buy both consoles for less money than spend some n a phone. They are very affordable. So whoever is still only buying one option is automatically on the losing side. And yes, I know Xbox is now an ecosystem to where you don't have to own an actual Xbox. Which is great. Even tho I prefer the X to the Pro... regardl...
I think gaming in general is on the right track. I don't compare companies or pieces of plastic. I just play games. If I owned stock for one of the companies or worked there...maybe then I would care. But I'm not in the fanboy cult.
If so, I can't wait to play it on Scarlet.
