I really don't go by reviews. If I ever question a purchase, I'll Redbox it for a day. If I personally like it, I'll buy it digitally. I write my own reviews... because to each their own
Wow, I guess the new leadership and company direction is paying off.... MASSIVELY!
Satya Nadella seems to be the real deal. Sorry Steve Ballmer. Now I understand how they can make the new Xbox so powerful while taking a loss on each unit. Assuming that's what they are doing. But everyone knows they won't have the weaker console again.
My duelshock lasts around 5 hrs tops. It MUST be plugged in every night too. My Xbox controller lasts about 3 days. Not using AA batteries. A rechargable pack
Then you must be under the age of 13
This is the move of a company that doesn't have the means or balls to step outside the box. If they did, and if failed. They would be bankrupt. Microsoft took a hit last gen for trying to think outside the box. But they have so much more money. Therefore room to take risks
I hope this is a case of smoke and mirrors. Because the specs are somewhat underwhelming. Besides the SSD part. But ... Mark Cerny did drop the ball on the Pro
What it it was a mobile version of Gran Turismo?
Cerny, I feel, is the one that made the Pro so underwhelming. I hope Sony involves more developers in the design process.
Console wars are literally created by those who can't afford them all. So they try to justify their purchase by belittling others that have something else. Brand loyalty only limits your choices
Man, I agree with you to an extent. But it's severely limited by the power of the console. I am interested in seeing the psvr 2.0 on the next gen PlayStation though. Hopefully they improve on it. It was however, a great first attempt. But I like my VIVE much more
Some people might not like the Exclusive games Sony has to offer. Honestly there only a few I care for. God of War, MLB the Show, Uncharted, and Horizon Zero Dawn. Now before I get all the dislikes and hate because I have my own opinion...I've rented and played most of the other ones. Such as Spider-Man and a few others. But they were good as rentals. Nothing I would play again.
Love Odyssey. One of my favorites
Switch to Unreal
Yep. Two good picks. I'm hoping Days Gone lives up to my expectations. Hearing the mixed thoughts and reviews has me a little nervous...but Sony has been solid the past few games I've bought. So I pre-ordered in good faith.
The Vive is incredible. However, I didn't have the same experience with the psvr. It seemed very gimmicky with limited good games. Take him to mine that I bought it this time last year and sold it a few months after. So I'm thinking there have been some changes and more quality games. Do you guys feel I should give it a second chance?
I'm pretty sure you meant to say footage of the regular Xbox one. because they stated more than once that the Xbox x was by far the superior version
So does mine. On certain games (Spider-Man) it can get a little loud. But nothing to complain about. However, my next door neighbor has a PS4 Pro as well and it sounds like a jet engine taking off.
I typically Redbox single player games, especially the ones that are ONE & DONE. The only Sony exclusive games I own are MLB the Show, Spider-Man, and Horizon Zero Dawn. Even tho they are single player games...I still find entertainment in those titles.
That being said, do you guys think this game worth a purchase? Or would it fit under the one and done category?
In my opinion, The gamers win. I plan on doing exactly what I did this generation and purchase all of the platforms. So with the competition heating up that only means we,as the consumers, will get much better products.
Hey, before you write it off... Redbox it. We don't all share the same opinion. If you like it after a day of renting it. Go and buy it.
