Make sure to purchase both. Because there is zero reason not to.
I can't............. Wait ...... For both
Yeah, that'll be the " biggest cinematic single player game" but I think Infinite will have hight player counts and replayability. Unless it bombs. Which I doubt it will. Regardless... Get em both. No harm there.
No kidding. Dumb move in his part.
Hahaha. No one cares huh? Good one.
I agree with you on all accounts. It was definitely a smart move by Sony to make that deal with Microsoft. I know a lot of people would disagree with me, but in a perfect world I wish there was only two consoles. 1 by Nintendo and the other two would be a combined effort from Microsoft and Sony. I know that would never happen. But it would be amazing. Because I have all three right now and I'm always thinking how nice it would be if I had certain features from 1 console that the other one...
That's cool. I use my Alexa for my Xbox. Glad to see I'll be able to voice command the PS5 now.
Now just remove the lights on the controller and console. No reason to have them. It's somewhat intrusive. The one on the console isn't terrible but I could do without it. The one on the controller is definitely frustrating
Yeah, that's happened to me a few times. Hey, at least we still own them.
Just trying to squeeze a little bit of positivity out of it haha
I agree. Definitely feels like a rumour. Also, Sony made a statement about their Ray tracing. Stating that they are only using it for directional sound and improved reflections. Nothing about lighting and the other goodies found on PC. Which makes sense considering how much the Ray tracing solutions that are on PCs. Very expensive.

First off, the only competition is in the games themselves. PvP and such. I know what you meant though. I had a PS4 day one then updated to the Pro. Then when the Xbox X came out I purchased it. With that being the most powerful console... That's now where I purchase the 3rd party party games I'm interested in. That will be the same this coming generation. I'll have both (because I'm a REAL gamer) but only one will be getting the 3rd party games....
Same. Except I'm going with the Series X version. Unless the PS5 proves to be more powerful. I'll have both consoles day one. So the power of the hardware will be the determining factor on which piece of hardware I buy third party games on.
Ask Apple why they create a new phone every year. Because an upgrade is an upgrade. Also, why did Sony and Microsoft make a mid generation upgrade to there original launch hardware? I'm not mad at it. As long as it doesn't screw over the people that invested a
year or two ago. We're in a different time and era. I'm much happier getting more out of my investment with the Pro and X knowing that the software, controllers, headset's, and mostly games....are still su...
How is it a mid generation upgrade when it's more powerful than the PS5? Did you miss the video of hellblade 2?
Both consoles are a day one purchase for me. So I don't care what either decide to do about whether or not they leave those that invested in the hardware this gen. It would be a poor choice for the consumers to just drop those that invested. Sony did that going from the PS3 to the PS4 and then they charged people for remakes of the game instead of making them backwa...
I guess we all need to ask ourselves... does it make sense that Apple and Samsung continue to support their devices aren't the newest pieces of hardware? It's very good for the consumer to not feel left behind and forced to purchase new hardware to play new games and IPs. I'm sure Sony will do the same thing as Microsoft. There's NO WAY they're going to leave a user base of 100mill + in the dust.
It's most certainly pro-consumer. And if anybody on this website claims to do their gaming on PC than they know PCS have been doing this forever. Hell, so does Apple with their iPhones. there is a certain point that you have to cut off hardware and then just rely on backwards compatibility oh, but not right away. Sony would be foolish to start a new generation of console the way it has historically been done. That would leave 100 million PS4 users in the dust. And that would suck. Dev kit...
They have nothing new to show that warrants them not spending millions on a gaming show when they have their own event. That's why Microsoft has their E3 conference in their own venue.
They will. The Dev kits are way more powerful than the consumer products. Developers always make the game stay in vision on a PC in a Dev kit. Then tone it down for the appropriate piece of hardware. PC has been doing this for a VERY LONG TIME!!! Plus, there is No Way Sony leaves the 100 million PS4 install base behind in the dust and just tell them it'll be backwards compatible. Get real. That is very anti-consumer. iPhone has been supporting multiple devices for many many years. Eventua...
Why do people care so much about what any of the hardware manufacturers do about E3? Further more, Dev kits of always been almost double the power of the consumer product. Because developers build their games as they Invision them, then modify them for the hardware they are placing it on. So for example... Hellblade2 will look and play incredible on the series X. It's not difficult to tone a game down for weaker hardware. They did it for the Xbox One when the PS4 was more powerful. Now th...
That's what being brand loyal does to customers. And YES, they are customers. Not real/true gamers.
No more 1080. We are in the 4k era. If people don't have a 4k display... It's time to set it up and get one this coming generation
