Yeah, but Wii U sales didn't spike until MK8 hit the scene. We'll probably see a sizable increase for June. I anticipate that Wii U numbers will be a lot healthier than before. So I agree with Concertoine's estimate. It'll be close to that number, if not higher.
Oh stop complaining. I'd rather the game get made as an exclusive to a console I don't own than not at all.
I don't think Amiibos would serve that kind of purpose though. They seem to be there for extra functionality, not to be an alternative to DLC.

People find a way to complain about anything. I learned that from spending time in the Wii U articles here lol. If Sony fairly priced the subscription fee then I'm sure it would take off. $15 - $20 a month seems fair for free instant access to a full library spanning three or more generations of games. And they could discount it for PS+ members.
Ah, yes I forgot that they removed that. Well PS Plus is still a little cheaper. And it's worth noting its had a lot of the benefits like free games for a longer period of time than Xbox Live.
Hopefully they'll follow up with actual Gamecube games! :D

I just got the Bioshock Infinite season pass and last week I got The Wolf Among Us. Both for like $10 or less each. My wallet hates me for loving these sales lol.
I don't see why you have so many disagrees. Under Iwata Wii U started off poorly and also under him it's making a big turn around.
Iwata made some mistakes when Wii U launched. And this year Mario Kart sold two million units in a month. Iwata can still do good work in spite of the narrow minded hatred against him.
I'm surprised that anyone would tolerate paying for individual games. Shouldn't it be a flat monthly fee to gain access to all the games, like Netflix does with movies?

To be fair, the game is still in beta form. Boyes should have specified if he was talking about the beta or the final version.
Hear, hear! More funny games are definitely welcome in my book. A lot of the stuff from Tim Schafer that I've played were really awesome.
PS Plus is the better value. You pay less for it but get more than what Xbox Live gives you. You also don't need PS Plus to play free to play games or use paid services like Netflix.

Depends on what you're looking for. Has a lot of exclusives coming, but not a lot of third party support. If you like what it's offering then it is great for what it provides. I personally love the thing and find it to be a great console. Absolute blast to have. :)
