boogie2988 made a video about this subject and he pointed out that you can purchase Final Fantasy XIII-2 on PSN for $20, $10 less than renting it on PS Now for 90 days. Streaming has its share of issues too, such as not being able to play the game if there is no online connection. I don't know about you guys, but if I'm purchasing a digital game, I want to own the content and have my console render it, not projected to my screen with streaming. I also prefer DVDs to Netflix because of...
If ther is DLC, I just hope it's nothing that would divide the online community.
Dang, Mario Kart is still in the top 5, as is Persona Q.
Ubisoft makes millions on Assassin's Creed every year. They can definitely afford it.
Isn't the point of E3 to show games that will be out soon and announce the stuff that's also coming later? I thought this year was awesome! The big three really pulled out the stops and there's a lot of cool content coming out both this year and next.
I LOVE The Last of Us, but the Halo Master Chief Collection is a much better value, hands down. That's four games, two of which are remakes and the other two have updated framerates and resolutions, all of which are supposed to run at 1080p 60fps. Though a recent post said Halo 2's campaign may not run at 1080p, but I digress. It's still four remastered games on one disc.
wonderfulmonkeyman, your posts are (dare I say it) wonderful, but please stop with the caps lock. XD
Lately people keep saying Zelda isn't a system seller because it doesn't sell as high as Mario or Pokemon. I beg to differ since this latest Zelda, like others before it, has given its home console a lot of invigorated interest. I think some people are seriously underestimating this game.
I would argue it wasn't all boring. Sony did have a lot of games to show. It didn't get bad until after more than a few minutes of Powers went by.
'Earlier this month, a new Miiverse update was released that offered fans a host of new options and features: a reduced comment restriction time, an increased post character limit, an increased number of viewable notifications, and the inclusion of posts that have received “Yeahs” to be displayed on the main Activity Feed.'
Sweet! Nice to see the restriction was lowered once again and hey, even the character cap is up. Seems like a pretty good update.
Speak for yourself, I think Mario Maker is gonna be awesome! :D That being said, I disagree a little bit. People were indeed excited for Zelda, but there is also a lot of enthusiasm for Splatoon and Bayonetta. I don't agree with people dismissing those games either. They have just as much relevance as any exclusive for PS4 and XB1.
Before E3, many gamers didn't really care for Wii U. In fact some people laugh when you mention it. Now people actually have games they are excited for and are anticipating for the Wii U. Not everyone by any means, but a lot more people than before and that interest could be what is saving the console.
But Bayonetta and Hyrule Warriors are more like hack 'n slash action games...
Watch AVGN play Zelda 2. That game is even harder! XD
Project X was confirmed to be Xenoblade Chronicles X...
No, no, no. You guys are thinking of PS5. Yes, I said PS5. It's so good it doesn't even exist yet.
Don't forget about Nintendo's third party partnership games such as Bayonetta and Devil's Third. Those are still coming and those will most likely also drive up interest in the system, if only just a little. The more high quality games the better.
And a great presentation to boot.
lol I should probably do that. And to the people disagreeing, I'm not knocking Halo 2 remastered at all. I just can't believe the idea that one part would be 1080p but not another. That just seems like a silly thing to do for what looks is such a good looking remake.
Me too. Those online racers are more brutal than the AI. >.<
