This game's appeal was being a truly scary game and it's because there are no guns and no real way to fight the enemy. It's more tense when all you can do is run and hide.
Me too. Like with a lot of the other games, this one is shaping up quite nicely.
Agreed. This game is begging for some augmented 3D.
Yeah, that part confused me too. I think this is just isometric 3D. :P
Really creative use of geometry... I want to play this and the Toad game I compared it to in the last post.
Well nuts! There goes my motivation to use up all my bubbles. XD
Don't be discouraged! Just keep commenting. I've won a few game codes myself. I wasn't able to comment for a while, but now I'm back in full swing. So good luck to us both!
Yeah, I like how they're going with a grittier style for a puzzle/platformer. That's not very common.
Huh. Anyone getting a deja vu vibe? This game kind of reminds me of that Toad game Nintendo showed off at E3. Only this one is a little grittier and more focused on changing the environment.
The amount of JRPG success on 3DS surely helped as well.
People keep bringing up how the Kickstarter + Paypal funding netted them $4 million but it's such a short sighted viewpoint. Go look at the Kickstarter page for Mighty No. 9. Look at what the $4 million covers. It covers ALL of the original stretch goals. If you want that content plus more, it needs to have more funding. You can't just demand more content without extra funding. Finally, the animated series is not being made by Comcept, but another studio entirely. They are called Digi...
^Exactly. Star Citizen kept on expanding and it was because people kept giving them money. How is giving Comcept more money any different?
I agree that Nintendo should continue doing unique things, but I feel that some industry standards should be met. A unified account system would not only be healthy for Nintendo's reputation it would also be healthy for the consumer and it would make things like cross-buy much easier.
Man, what I wouldn't give to see the Crash Bandicoot IP with Sony again. :(
You do realize that it actually did not make enough for its stretch goals, right? The last stretch goal was at $4 million and the Kickstarter campaign didn't even reach that much. Paypal donations brought it up to 4$ million. And if you look at those stretch goals, none of them included voice acting which actually does cost money. The Mega Man X games had voice acting and so did Legends. I think you are making a mountain out of a molehill. You are going to get the original stretch goals i...
Show me ya moves!
Not sure about that. Lucina looks pretty close to Marth. A friend pointed out that on the Smash Bros. website, her box is as big as the other veterans and she also does not have a "Newcomer" tag like Robin does. So it's very likely she's either a clone or an alternate costume for Marth.
@Concertoine I'm rather shocked that Shulk wasn't revealed. But it ain't over 'till it's over. And I still believe he's in there.
Considering that Marth, Ike and Lucina are all playable, I think we're more than covered on blue haired sword wielding fighters. Having Chrom as just part of a Final Smash is good enough for me.
lol Same here. I have a hard time just trying to watch it!
