Based on the comparison he didn't sound all that bad in either IMO. His voice kind of made me think of Ron Perlman's narrations for the Fallout series.
I wouldn't worry too much about a silent protagonist. Fire Emblem let you choose to have a silent protagonist and some classic JRPGs had them as well. If their story is centered around the player's character being silent, I'm sure they will make it work. :)

I agree that it's disappointing, but since all the stuff doesn't even cost club coins, I'm not all that upset. I got my free game (Game & Wario yay!) so I'm good. :)

That's part of creative freedom. Sometimes you find stuff you like and stuff you really don't like. Either way, more variety is better.
Exactly. There are some spectacular indie games and there are some bad AAA games and we should encourage more great games from both.
They're both doing quite well at the end of the day. It's just that one is selling more than the other. Not much to fret about IMO, especially since I have a 3DS and intend to get a PS4. :)

Eh, some people only want their favorites to be successful and that's their opinion. I personally like seeing everyone succeed because there's more competition and they can push my favorites to be better and there's just generally more variety. :)
