I agree. The first game was a failure to Square and it was multiplatform. Exclusivity on the console that's selling half its competitor is a confusing business move for sure.
More offline Nintendo games getting updated with online.
Full freedom to do whatever you want is also pretty cool.
Oh crap. PLEASE let this be a trend.
Not if they don't sell a lot of copies and consoles. If it isn't good business then the corporations won't do them.
edit Flip side is if they do make money then the companies will keep doing them.
Nice to see Kojima also tackling something that isn't Metal Gear and with the help of one of my favorite movie directors! All of this news is exactly what I was hoping for!
Good idea since Unity isn't even out yet. Don't want to cannibalize your series with too many entries in one year. Looking at you Guitar Hero...
Sorry! Should have said console exclusive for both. So far I've heard no announcements for No Man's Sky on Xbox One but I think that has to do with the devs wanting to focus on what platform at a time. It could also be XB1 not having acting VR support.
He didn't make Sony and MS look bad. He never even mentioned them except to say he wanted all of them to succeed.
Nintendo has its own quality. Microsoft has some high quality IPs but so does Nintendo. I don't think any comparison could change that.
I want to see some Luigi Space Glare. :P
I think fans have a right to be upset but I personally am not bothered. I'm more of an Uncharted fan than a Tomb Raider fan not that I didn't like the reboot though.
I do often get confused by the no games argument Wii U has. There is definitely plenty of games on it just not a whole lot of system sellers which is great for anyone who already owns it. Right now my only gripes for it are waiting for Smash or Oddworld to come out on it. :P
Does it come out before or after heists? Because we could be waiting quite a while depending on the answer. :/
Hyped for this game on PS4. :P A statement like this is exciting. Must be a vast amount of content in this game.
He might own both consoles so in his particular case it wouldn't be too costly at all. But for everyone else who only has a PS4 it presents quite a frustrating situation.
For a remaster I thought it did pretty dang well.
For realistic shooter platformers? Uncharted 4. :P For third party exclusives I think we have plenty of indie stuff. Dreamfall is now a Playstation exclusive and No Man's Sky is still console exclusive on PS4. Plus many third party games will still perform better on PS4 than XB1 unless developer choose to create console parity.
From a game using 3D World's engine I would certainly expect it to look nice! :D
I have friends I play local with all the time, but I also have friends who are too far away to do that with so I hope it is true too.
