With the game Activision stands to share profits with other companies. But the toys seem to make them a lot more money so making the games cost less or even nothing may actually entice people to buy many more of the toys.
You know, free digital downloads for the games would probably be the better approach. The toys are already pretty expensive and there is a lot to collect. Looks like I can get this now lol.
Hopefully that new mode in the update they're making is online. Fool's dream but here's hoping.
70k in two days in Japan for a home console game doesn't seem all that abysmal to me. :/
But not Wii U? Not unexpected but why those two consoles? Makes no sense.
I'm guess not too put off because Nintendo has done stuff like this before. I did some googling to see if Nintendo ever had other product placement like this and it turns out they did in at least one other game which was Pikmin 2. There are duracell batteries and other brands and what not in that game. I think it's fair for your uneasiness but losing the magic? The magic is in the games, not the marketing. C'mon. :P
You can blame third parties or Nintendo but blaming the consumer is just asinine. It's up to the publishers to make their games enticing. It's not fair to expect people to buy those games whether they are interested or not.
I've almost got enough for the white PS4. Even if all I get for Wii U is exclusives ever few months I think I'll be fine. I do hope Nintendo is able to get more content out to fans though.
Blizzard and Activision merged. Neither one bought the other.
Heck yeah. It's arguably a bigger, badder, better game than Mario Kart. It's still my number one reason for wanting my Wii U. :)
Great that the game has cross-buy but it's really disappointing that it hasn't been implemented into all regions.
^You're getting the first game with it scissor_runner. :P
I actually found this to be pretty funny. It's just so tongue in cheek lol.
Don't forget Sony's outstanding PR and marketing. They spoke the loudest and clearest to gamers and gained a great first impression for PS4. Neither Nintendo or Microsoft did that.
People are thinking this over a free DLC car? My gosh the first world problems they think of...
He's saying you can use something fun as part of marketing for what's good about your product.
Smooth gameplay and from a technical standpoint framerate are more important to the experience than the resolution IMO.
Possible but unlikely. Would be awesome to see him come back though.
My guess is they will focus on Bayonetta once Hyrule Warriors is out in all the big regions.
Ah dang, I didn't think about that. I hope those don't cost too much. :(
