Maybe someday they will do an HD collection on Wii U. HD Melee. With Online. Ohhhh one can dream. :')
Yeah, but if we're going by video games then Nintendo trounces Microsoft to a massive degree. The Xbox brand is not nearly as profitable as Nintendo and its franchises are.
And hopefully that list will keep on growing.
Vita has been getting a lot of localized games lately. :) We can only hope!

"Movie" games aren't that bad. I bought Heavy Rain when it was around $25 and I felt satisfied with the experience. Neat story and I liked the potential for more cinematic games. Look at TellTale's The Walking Dead, these cinematic games should take that approach and let us influence the story in the same way.
Would you rather the games lose their fidelity? Games can look good and have high resolutions, but with new hardware that often takes time.
We're a looooong distance away from what you're talking about. Keep in mind that fidelity needs to be sacrificed in order to accommodate for advanced AI, larger maps and physics. We're looking at at least another three four generations at the very least before we're even close to that.

A device that most people don't care for and a jacked up price tag is definitely a recipe for disaster. The sooner they release the Kinectless SKU, the better off they will be.
PS4 will improve too, most likely remaining above XB1 in terms of raw power. I'm all for XB1 enthusiasm, but let's at least be practical about it.
Godmars gets it. More than one device can be successful, and that's exactly what's happening with PS4 and XB1 one right now.
The circle pad pro gives the 3DS the things you said it was missing, but I get what you mean. 3DS should have had those features out of the box. Missed opportunity for sure.
Well, it has taken off in Japan. And that's mostly due to the rise of Japanese-centric games for Vita.
What's real is Vita is killing it in Japan. It could do better in the west too. Sony just misread the market. I doubt they want to lose potential money. So yeah, let's be real.
I think we will see another handheld after Vita from Sony. But I think it may follow the console/portable hybrid approach that Nintendo is leaning toward.
Just imagine indeed. Games grow over time as developers gain better understanding and skill with console architecture. PS4 will be no different.
