Lol damn. Has there been any GOOD news relating to PlayStation lately? It seems like everything posted on here over the last 2 weeks relating to Sony or PS5 has been bad news or controversial.
What does that have to do with anything I said? What Sony has done previously has nothing to do with what I would like to see them do going forward. Yes, Insomniac was a great get but lets be honest, they were already practically a Sony dev in everything but name. And when Sony bought Naughty Dog, they weren't yet "NAUGHTY DOG " They were a small, unknown studio, just like Blue Point and Housemarque which I'm totally on board with Sony acquiring.
I would much rather see Sony grow and cultivate talent from within than to go out and try to buy a large developer. However I do hope Sony does acquire smaller teams like Housemarque and Blue Point. Like Insomniac, it just makes sense. They've been working so closely and so exclusively with Sony for so long. Sony just needs to put a ring on it with them.
No they won't. You are missing the big picture here. MS will absolutely make those games available on PS5...at 70 bucks a pop. The exclusivity will lie in the fact that you can play those games, day one, on Game Pass Ultimate for 14.99 a month and that will be the ONLY place you can do that. Not on PlayStation Now, not on Google Stadia, and not on Amazon Luna. MS is playing chess here. They know that by selling those games on PS5, not only do they make more money, it serves as a co...
@darthv72
Yeah I was talking about the arcade version when Sega debuted it. Believe me, I played the shit out of the arcade version way before it ever saw the light of day on Dreamcast. You're right, the arcade was superior. However I still loved it on Dreamcast version as well and played it to death.
What I've always loved about VF is the fact that with every punch and kick, it carries the fighter's momentum forward instead of the charact...
Such a crime this isn't on PS4!
I know I'm going to date myself here but, I remember the first time Sega debuted Virtua Fighter 3. At the time, I was so blown away by how it looked! God I l LOVED that game and played it to death on the Dreamcast back in the day!
SHUT UP AND TAKE ALL MY MONEY PLEASE!!!!!!!
LOL thanks for the Japanese subtitles to go with the Japanese dialogue!
I dont necessarily think 4 needs a full blown remake. Just give it the remaster treatment via The Last of Us.
I have absolutely no problem with being charged for this. What I have a problem with is the fact that Sony won't make it available separate from Miles Mirales. I don't get that at all. Why won't Sony just sell it separately for 19.99? That makes no sense to me.
Agreed. Though for the launch of the console, I'm absolutely going to buy the Spiderman Collection and Demon's Souls at full price just to get me started. Those, along with Ghost of Tsushima (I've been saving this one) and Cyberpunk will MORE than keep me busy until next gen games start getting discounted.
"Disaster"? Oh my lord! Let's not be hyperbolic or anything. Geez where do these people come from?
The first one sold over a million copies. Being a brand new IP on a brand new launch console thats not bad at all. The sequel is very underrated.
Same. In fact, looking at my entire PS4 library I haven't bought a single game by any of these Zenimax devs this entire generation. The last one I bought was Skyrim back in 2012.
The difference is Sony didn't parade a game like Halo Infinite out for all to see and it look like complete ass. A lot of people (including me) assumed Halo's limitations were due to 343 trying to get it to run on two different generations of consoles (a reasonable assumption at the time). However now we know that wasn't at all the case. Halo's issues were more related to lack talent/competence in leadership. Sony has demonstrated impressive examples of what cross gen game...
They do. Ghost of Tsushima and Days Gone.
Lol I thought that said "except" not "expect"
I love how people act like every single Xbox owner is subscribed to Game Pass. The vast, vast majority of Xbox owners aren't. Many of us still like to own our games.
Well the good news is after Mario 3D World and Pikmin 3 Deluxe come out, there's not really much else for Nintendo to scavenge from the Wii U to bring to Switch.
