OK I'm confused because it was just announced that Warframe will run at 1440p/60fps on PS5. If the PS5 doesn't support 1440p, how is Warframe running it at that resolution?
Definitely turn off all motion blur and screen filtering! Those are the main ones that I turn off in every game.
"MGSV just felt unfinished"
And I guarantee you that no one is more bothered by that than Kojima himself.
Agreed. Like with Insomniac, it just makes sense. I also hope they acquire Housemarque and Kojima Productions. Those would all be good fits in Sony's 1st party stable.
Well let's see, just in 2020 we have gotten Nioh 2, The Last of Us 2, Ghost of Tsushima, Dreams, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, MLB The Show 2020, and we are still getting Miles Mirales, Demon's Souls, Astrobot's Playroom, and Sackboy's Adventure. We are eating GOOD over here on PlayStation! I really don't feel like Sony NEEDS to buy more studios in terms of increasing their output to their userbase. I think they are already doing a fantastic job as far as that's concerned...
LMAO! I read that as "game engine overvalued." Hahaha!!
Most useless console ever built. MS might as well have stuck with the X1X.
I personally don't give a rat's ass whether something is native 4k or dynamic 4k. Both look great IMO and the difference isn't enough to waste time crying over. It's the "up to 60fps" language that bothers me. WTH does that even mean? It either runs at 60fps or it doesn't. Does "up to" mean that it's an inconsistent 60fps? If so, I'm sorry but that's just flat out poor optimization. PS5 should be able to EASILY handle this game at a c...
I don't get the language of "up to" 60fps. Does this mean it can't run at a consistent 60fps at dynamic 4K? I would think a game like this would be able to run at native 4K at a constant 60fps, considering it's a last gen title.
100% agree. Titanfall 2 was awesome. I really hope they get to make another one.
@Belmont85
There are two issues with Days Gone...
1. They released the game for review without the day one patch that fixed a lot of issues. Unfortunate for the game but that wasn't the reviewer's fault. They had to review the game in the state it was at the time.
2. The game overstays it's welcome. It gets a little boring and repetitive after a while. They should have cut the game length down about a third and tightene...
LOL how can Metacritic get it "wrong?" Metacritic is just an aggregate of all the major review site's scores combined and averaged out.
"looks at images." Yikes! You have bigger issues than the PS5! Two words! Cable Management!
Same.
But some of his "cons" are such reaches. He makes an odd comment about the Dualsense possibly being troublesome for those with large hands, despite it being bigger than the Dualshock 4. Wtf?? And I'm sorry, complaining about the lack of optical audio in 2020 is about the equivalent of complaining about the lack of component cable support.
@PrinceAli
Of course we realize it. I have a ridiculous backlog to catch up on anyway. The last thing I want to do right now is get into a massive open world game such as this. I have too many other games to finish first.
Same. Knowing that a next gen patch is coming, I'm not touching this until that day comes.
That's because it wouldn't fit the fanboy narrative to say otherwise LOL.
LOL
Features the XSX controller don't have = gimmicks.
Well with that mindset, I guess Xbox fans consider quality exclusive games as "gimmicks" as well.
You can try to be as reductive as you want but that "remake" is the most impressive looking launch game on either console. And that "DLC" is going to sell millions because it's going to be awesome! I guarantee you if you asked Xbox gamers, most of them would LOVE to have that "DLC" and "Remake" available on Xbox day one. But besides that, you have to look beyond launch day. 2021 doesn't look any better for XSX. IF Halo Infinite makes it out...
