Console gamers by and large will continue to be console gamers and PC gamers by and large will continue to be PC gamers with some fluctuation both ways. Just like the beginning of EVERY...OTHER...GENERATION that came before.

Bringing old PS4 games to PC in an effort to promote PS5 isn't the same thing as what you're suggesting. You're not going to see 1st party PS5 exclusives coming to PC for a very long time.
Does it play Ratchet and Clank A Rift Apart, Spiderman Miles Mirales, and Gran Turismo 7? Then no, its not all I need.
I didnt want them to go to THAT extreme because I do think there's a certain charm to the original Mario 64 aesthetic that should be preserved. However I do think Nintendo should've at least remastered the game in 1080p/60fps with widescreen support. I wouldve been very happy with that.

What effort? If Nintendo had truly wanted to put effort into this collection, they wouldve remastered all 3 games at full 1080p/60fps and converted Mario 64 to widescreen. That shouldve been the MINIMAL effort put into this collection. Its hard for me to justify this at 60.00 when Crash N Sane and Spyro trilogies got full remakes of those games and sold new for 39.99 each. By comparison this is highway robbery.

Yeah after giving it a lot of thought, I changed my mind. Youre right. For this collection they shouldve just remastered Mario 64 to wide-screen 1080p/60fps. That wouldve been better. However its still kind of hard for me to look over at something like the Crash N Sane and Spyro trilogies, collections of 3 games each, remade completely, and sold for 39.99, and then look at this lackluster effort for 59.99 and justify it.

I want a complete and total Killzone reboot. I loved the other games at the time but I feel with the advances we've made now in story telling, character development, voice acting, etc I think they should start from scratch and re-tell the origin story between the Hellghast and Earthlings. I think there's great potential with this lore but it needs the "God of War" treatment to sort of bring it up to date with modern gaming.

The price will not be ...49.99, for either console. They've done studies on this and they find that consumers do not respond well to sticker prices that have a...49.99 total. Crazy I know but I guess it's a psychological thing. I'm still saying 499.99 but if it's any higher than that it will be 599.99.

This is a lazy collection. No Mario Galaxy 2 and Mario 64 should've been remastered with Mario Odyssey assets. But hey, Nintendo is going to Nintendo.
PC enthusiasts have been saying this for years and years. Meanwhile, 110 million PS4's later LOL! 44 million Nintendo Switch's later. LOL! Give me a break. The only platform that PC threatens is Xbox because MS chose to put all their exclusives day and date on PC and the only reason they did that was because they were losing in the console space so badly, they had no other choice. There will ALWAYS be a market for consoles!
