@ActualWhiteMan
I was out of the retail game by the time the PS3 launched. But it was the exact same way at my store for the PS2 launch. We had over 2 hundred PS2's pre-sold and I had people on a pre-order list for over a year after the PS2 launched. The demand was insane and the supply was woefully inadequate for that first year!
How exactly has Nintendo "destroyed" Sony and MS? Neither one of them compete in the handheld market.
No, they're just extending an olive branch to current Xbox console owners so they don't feel abandoned. I wouldn't be surprised if this hardware is sold like the Surface tablet, direct from MS.
Beat me to it!! :-D
Translation - "we're currently busy working on the PS5 port".
First rule of songwriting: "Dont bore us, get to the chorus". :)
No. Game Pass isn't popular enough to have that kind influence. It might be the death of slow burn games ON Game Pass, but plenty will still get made and sold outside of Game Pass.
"Eh, you're better off owning it".
A philosophy that applies to every single thing you spend money on.
They should name it the BAFFLED Awards.
Lol I'm not paying 3,500.00 for a VR headset!
See, the mistake I think they are making with VR is in thinking it should be gaming focused. I disagree! The most compelling potential with VR to me is in virtual travel, live sporting events, live concert events, etc. God, what I wouldn't give to be able to buy an NFL Sunday VR Ticket where I could sit virtually in every NFL stadium and watch the games as if I were actually there! Same with college football! How how about ringside at every major boxing or UFC event! Or WWE! Or Cou...
Dude, you KNOW that's what he means. Don't be so pedantic.
@XFvfaux. You don't have to buy them.
They have my attention!

Right article, wrong game. Substitute Avowed with Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and everything else written is correct.
Welcome to the age where gamers are "informing" themselves by watching YouTube grifters and reading X.
Sony didn't realize what they had with Demons Souls. It happens. Marvel approached Xbox to make Spider-Man before they went to Sony and Phil Spencer said "thanks but no thanks". You win some, you lose some. Personally I wasn't THAT bowled over by Demons Souls either when it launched on PS3. I thought it was slow and clunky. The remake on PS5, however, is fantastic! So I get why Sony was lukewarm on the franchise. I dont know if anybody could've foreseen what Fro...
Trojan horse for what??? Lmao. You think this is some kind "4d chess move" by MS? This is desperation, junior! MS is putting their games on PlayStation because share holders at MS are putting tremendous pressure on them to show an ROI after spending 80 billion dollars to acquire Activision and Bethesda.
The console war is over son. Xbox is now no different than EA or Bandai Namco or Ubisoft. Calling this a Trojan horse is just stupid and juvenile.
I would expect nothing less.
