You should still be able to tell the general direction of where you need to go with stereo but will take longer.
Razer makes great peripherals though I'm not too keen on the D-Pad of that controller. Apparently it's not the final design and might change. I hope they make a really good D-Pad for it.
Definitely worth buying but I might have to hold back until later on when I don't have as much uni work to do.
Really looking forward to this.
I love the character designs.
I was wondering the same thing.
It's probably USB and Razor does lot of PC peripherals so I'd be surprised if it didn't work on PC especially considering the official 360 controller does.
I was hoping this game would have come to PC by now as it's been over a year since it was released.
Any of you think this, Gears2, Halo Reach, Fable 3 and Alan Wake are enought reasons for me to pick up a 360?
edit: @below, Yeah I heard that's pretty good so I'm guessing Crackdown2 will be too. I'm looking for reasons to pick up a 360 but at the moment I think I might wait until there are more full exclusives on the 360 since I have a gaming PC and a PS3.
Thief is one of my favourite franshises and TBH I like it more than Splinter Cell or even MGS.
Can't wait for Thief 4
I know what you mean.
With BF2 and any other online game you'll get your ass handed to you for a while but that's how you learn. Always jump into a squad and as long as it's a decent bunch of people you'll have a blast even though your not great at it.
The beta was awsome but the graphics are nowhere near Uncharted 2. There was a lot of model switching to lower poly models which was far too obvious.
It makes sense for the game to use lower poly models for people who are far away but shouldn't really happen when you're viewing the guy who killed you.
edit: The PC version will obviously be better graphically so it could be that which they're talking about and we should probably wait for the final product first.
It's definitely a must have but I have to admit that after having played through the GoW Collection and then the GoW3 demo it did feel pretty much like more of the same but with amazing graphics.
There are a good few months before it's out so by the time it's out it'll probably feel great to play as Kratos again.
I don't think it's that much of a mistake.
MS is gunning for the casual market and as we all know from the Wii's success, you don't need great graphics to get the attention of casuals. You do however, need a peripheral that's not too expensive so dropping the chip was probably a good idea. The only problem with that is that it leaves less CPU power for more graphics intensive games which isn't good for us gamers.
You have to remember the game allows for 256 players playing at one time. The graphics are bound to take a hit.
edit: you mentioned it's flawed but didn't actually mention any flaws you came across unless you're implying the lower graphics quality is a flaw which isn't actually a flaw since it's designed and made to be like that.
I'll be picking up the PC version for which the servers should be running for quite a while but with Bad Company 2 I might not play MoH multiplayer much.
'you can be a pc and console gamer anyway' like me :)
That list has MGS:Rising in it. I didn't know it was coming to PC.
edit: Just googled it and it is coming to PC. Big surprise for me.
Great review. I'm really getting into it but have stopped as I have uni work to do and can't afford to get sucked in just yet.
In my opinion if anyone can be compared to Blizzard it's Bioware.
lol I know that you mean. I'm sure you'll be able to get a pair that actually look decent.
I've heard Avatar in 3D is absolutely amazing. If they can add 3D support for games like Uncharted 2 I'd be more than happy to use it but only if a movie in 3D can win me over.
I think by the time the next DS is out tech will be at a point where it will be able to have PSP like graphics with higher res touch screens and even an accelerometer like in the iPhone.
Actually, tech is already at that point it's just getting it all into a portable device that doesn't cost too much that's the problem.
I read 'flagship title' and thought of Half-Life 2.
I Was surprised that Left 4 Dead 2 is now their flagship title though it makes sense as it's their current most popular title.
edit: I'm not too keen on this motion controller. There is obvious lag when using it. You could adjust to it after a while but I was kind of expecting it to be more impressive.
