I love the setting of this game. It does kind of remind me of Killzone2 but that's not a bad thing.
Also, the scripted sequence in there was really cool but most of all I'm glad I'll get to play this on my PC as I'll have a new graphics card by the time it's out :D

I don't mind checking out graphics comparisons but this is more of an AC2 graphics comparison between the two consoles.
A proper console vs console comparison would use the games that show what each console is capable of wouldn't it?
I know GTAIV wasn't as great as we thought it would be but I give Rockstar credit for trying something different with it.
After creating so many games in a franchise with the same gameplay and mechanics anyone would want to do something that was at least a little different and TBH I don't blame 'em. I'm sure they'll have learnt something from it and will be able to make GTAV that much better just as Ubi did with AC2.
I'm still keeping my eye out for it here in the UK though I doubt I'll find it anywhere pre-owned and I'm not fussed enough to import it.
At least next year is looking much better for the 360. There'll be a lot of happy gamers next year on both platforms.
I don't know what to say lol.
Edit: Both Sony and MS will have some amazing games next year and will be a much closer fight than this year. This fool should have asked for a PS3 for Christmas so he can learn to appreciate what's on both sides of the fence.

I think the people looking forward to this the most are those that played the first one which was a great game.
I wouldn't put it with the likes of AC2 or U2 either but it does deserve praise (on the 360 at least). I wish they did a better job on the PS3 version as I would have bought it straight away instead of waiting for it to go cheaper (even though the demo didn't exactly amaze me).
I played the PS3 demo and didn't think it was all that but it's good enough for me to pick it up later on sometime when it's cheaper.
Yeh that extra 3 years peace of mind is a good thing.
I think it would be great if they allowed you to purchase only the features you were interested in (though if you wanted to purchase just to be able to get into betas it might be fairer on Sony to have a minimum contract period or something).
There are some really great features in that list that I didn't know about. I might actually consider paying for it now as I wasn't bothered before.
I agree with you about people wanting to go it alone and play Rambo. Happens in Battlefield games quite a bit but what you said about it being split into teams isn't quite right. It doesn't make sense to have 128 people in one group as co-ordination will be next to impossible.
