If there is a MGS movie it'd be pointless making it of any of the games. It would have to have it's own story that ties in with the MGS timeline and it would have to have Kojima's involvement.
thor's comment makes perfect sense to me.
I hope it is exceptional because we need more developers trying different things. I don't want to be playing CoD and Halo clones all year every year.
For some reason Darkmurder seems to "know" it's not up to the quality of Uncharted 2 without having played it.
I'll assume he's just talking about the visuals as that's the only thing he ever seems to care about and I can see his point but you need to consider the context in which these kinds of visuals are used and how well they work in the in the game as a piece of interactive entertainment.
Uncharted 2 visuals are gorgeous and so are the ones in this gam...
How much info is there on the track editor?
Will it allow you to create your own full tracks or just edit existing ones?
If it lets you create your own will it create the optimal racing lines?
Sasuke is definitely bad ass but the thing about Naruto is there are so many damn good characters.
I agree but isn't Bioware in Canada?
You can't say it's done and then say they're then going on and ironing out bugs and such since that isn't what you can call 'done'.
The content may be done but as far as the whole game development thing goes it's not really done as it's only done when it's 'done' if you know what I mean.
I didn't know Sony ever tried to create a Halo killer. It's the fans that keep hyping games to be Halo killers which is different.
Just showed my mate (who still hasn't got a current gen console yet) the Hades pic and he said it looks like a painting.
I told him Jaffe said the same :)
Battlefield 3 is the one I'm most looking forward to so as long as they don't gimp that I'm not too fussed.
I'm still getting this though as the PS3 version was great and I'll like it even more on PC.
'$5.1 billion in revenue in the U.S. in 2009, which is a 26 percent share of the total video game industry revenue in 2009.'
Is that really 26% of the total game industry (as in world wide) or just the US game industry?
I reckon it's most likely people using the headsets they normally use with their phones.
I'd say it's easy to support any developer who consistently releases amazing games. I've never known a single Bioware game to be any less than outstanding.
Haven't bought a PC Gamer mag in ages but their reviews are usually pretty good.
I wish I wasn't bogged down with uni work as I'd be buying it day 1 for PC.
I never played AvP but AvP2 was so much fun. I loved playing as the Alien and Predator. Was too scared to play Marine for a while lol.
The opening to the Predator and Alien campaigns were awsome especially hunting down humans from trees just like in the movie lol.
That's pretty unfair as this is one of the best looking games on 360 and a damn site better than Crackdown.
It may not be as technically or visually impressive as the latest PS3 exclusive but give it some credit at least.
edit: I seem to have stumbled into the open zone without noticing lol.
Yeh this game looks really good and I'm definitely looking forward to playing it when I get a 360 hopefully in the summer some time (fingers crossed).
The lighting is pretty cool though I can't help but notice that all the sparks flying out of flares and stuff don't emit their own light. Normally it wouldn't bother me but since so much of this game seems to be in the dark it's kind of hard for me to not notice.
Hopefully the gameplay will keep me engaged enough to not noti...
I've still got folklore but got stuck on that first big bad guy. For some reason I just can't figure out how to kill him but yeah the implementation of the sixaxis is really great in the game.
I don't think it's Sony's fail TBH. I think it's the developers who fail to use it properly and since it's only available on the PS3 multi-platform devs are less likely to implement it just for the PS3.
