Walmart is probably hoping that by removing new-released DVD displays they can force movie companies to purchase floor space and provide their own displays for each movie release.
An amusing preview, hopefully they fix some of the issues before the game get's released.
I don't know why but this game sort of reminds me of Ninja Blade, even though one is an hack and slash and the other a shooter.
I am, mostly due to Remedy's excellent track record.
Uncharted 2 will most likely win more than a dozen GOTY awards. Though with all the other great titles still due to come out this year, its a disservice to count them out before they are even released.
Apparently you have forgotten what games looked like last gen. Sure Brutal Legend may not have all the bells and whistles of Uncharted 2.
But after playing the demo and viewing countless screen-shots, I'm still impressed with the creativity of the landscape, character designs and overall feel of the game.
Besides if every game looked, as amazing as Uncharted 2 is, gaming would start to look a little boring.
I'm hyped for Brutal Legend and I agree with some the article's points.
The game itself isn't really doing anything new. What makes Brutal Legend hype worth is Tim Schafer's track record of creating games that not only deliver a great unique story but an immersive gaming world.
Brutal Legend is the game I'm looking forward to the most this October.
Completely disagree with the article as I've played quiet a few platforming and family games on the X360.
The whole diversity issues with game consoles died last generation. Now that majority of 3rd parties have gone multi-platform.
50/50 chance, not bad and most likely in a few years time. There will be more women that like gaming then those that don't.
Also it's not all that hard to find a women that likes gaming.
@LONEWOLF231 - I'm definitly in the minority here but honesty I would prefer playing Risen than Demon Souls. As I'm not really a fan action-JRGPS though I will giving both games a try this month.
eh, still going to play it on the X360 as I can't stand to play games on a PC anymore thanks to my job.
I'm still going to import Risen and give it a shot. While I could play it on my PC, I'd rather not game on same machine that I work on.
I loved the land shark gun, though it wasn't really all that practical.
er shouldn't the title be "A Halo release that will be watchable on the PS3"
Cute, sort of reminds of a Simpsons joke "Law & Order : Elevator Repair Unit"
man I feel old, I actually remember a few of these ads when I was a kid
From the looks like it will be a nice twisted platform game.
Though I hope they fix/add more weapons to the game. As the preview mentioned that some parts of the game had a lack of weapons.
Bad marketing idea especially since most people don't know who Erwin Rommel is and the average person looking at the ad isn't going to get the connection.
Even though I haven't watched the launch trailer (want to keep it a surprise). I thought I would comment on how I am looking forward to playing this game.
A few people have commented that it's full of bugs, which doesn't surprise me as Gothic series was full of bugs as well.
Wow it's tad early for Dragon Age reviews. Though it's a very positive review that makes me want to play the game right now.
