I own both and PS3 and 360, no I don't know what you mean.
I guess the 360 can be a dust collector if you only play multi-platform games on the PS3. But than you can also say the same thing about the PS3 if you only buy multi-platform games on the 360.
Screw Playstation University, I'd rather listen to actually game developers than game journalists (and in this case I use the word journalist lightly).
I'm not saying that I agree with Valve's comments concerning the PS3, but why generalize everything that Valve says as anti-PS3. The majority of the time they talk about the future of gaming and technology.

With the amount of western RPGs coming out in 2010, I'm probably going to just pass on FFXIII.
If I was to buy FFXIII and that's a big if. I can't go the traditional route as the majority of the Final Fantasy games that I have played were on Nintendo systems.
So I would probably end up picking it up for the PS3.

I agree, heck if I didn't sell my Wii a few years back I would play the new Super Mario game during my Christmas break.

I don't see how, censoring a video game equals a bad port job.
On that point, while I've never played the "Orange Box" on PS3. I've heard that it wasn't as bad some people make it out to be.
Anyways Australian gamers should be more upset with their government for forcing game companies to censor their games then the developers themselves.
I'm guessing "... sent to die" translate to "we're not going to spend any money advertising this game".
I still have high hopes for Saboteur, but with a lack of advertising the game needs to get some amazing reviews. If not the game will probably just sit on store shelves gathering dust and be forgotten in a few months time.
I don't mind comparisons, but 90% of the time they are useless, espically during this generation.
I agree with many points in this article. Though in reality fanboys are only a problem if you let them affect you.
I think for most people the GOTY will be Uncharted 2. Though I find most awards to be subjective and just because someone doesn't like Uncharted 2 as much as you. Doesn't mean there is something wrong with the game industry.
I've just finished playing Uncharted 2 a few days ago and had an excellent time. Though for 'Spike's Best PS3 game' I voted for Infamous as its my favorite PS3 game of the year.
While I've always enjoyed watching the VGAs, their GOTY awards rarely match my own GOTY awards.
Which I doubt will change this year, heck they don't even have 'Dragon Age' up for the top award.

My launch console had RROD, a year after launch. I received my replacement console from MS a few weeks later and never had a problem since. Never had an issue with my PS3, and I didn't own my Wii long enough to notice any issues (6 months).
The only console I had major issues with was the PS2. Where I had two systems die on me. One a launch system and the other a slim. Though to be fair my original Xbox system disc drive was also close to death before the system was discontinued....
