Doesn't matter if it changed in EU, this particular article is about the US store where the sport is refered to as soccer. Soccer is even in the title of the game. You seem bitter, go complain to Konami to change the name to pro evolution football.
@ potnoodle
Considering this article is for US territory, using US terminology fits the bill. As you said, it's call soccer in the US. In the US they replaced a soccer game, not a football game.

More studios for Microsoft means more quantity, not quality. Especially considering they already stated they are aiming for a release every three months or so. Most of their studios will be churning out mediocre quality games for Gamepass.
And Crackdown 3 did not have troubled development. They had one team working on the game and another working on the cloud, some people working on the cloud left after the Epic acquisition. But the team working on ...
@angelicicediamond
Why people keep blaming this lackluster gen for Microsoft solely on it's launch is beyond me. This whole gen Microsoft lacked compelling, high quality games. That is the issue, they invest in everything but quality games. Even these studio acquisitions are not about quality games, it's about pumping out as many mediocre titles to fluff Gamepass titles. Aiming for a title every 3 months to satisfy Gamepass rather than a "the game is ready when...
@ gottabjimmyb
So the article you linked, which is 3 months old, has them expecting cloud saves within 1 to 3 months. The fact that we are at the later part of their expectations and still no cloud saves, it's a strong possibility that they may not make their "at least six months" target for achievements. Meaning it's very possible that feature may launch after Shenmue 3.
The fact of the matter is people backed the Steam version and aren...
@gottabjimmyb
Well at the moment Epic Store doesn't support cloud saves and game achievements, so that's two things Steam adds to their games that Epic Store doesn't.
If people ordered products to be picked up at store A (near their home, extremely convenient), which was available at the time of purchase, then when ready for pick up they were told they had to drive to store B to pick it up (other side of the state, very inconvenient), I wonder...

Imagine a console with a software attach rate of 5.5:1, according to Nintendo’s website (Switch). For reference the WiiU was 7.8:1.
Either there are not many options when it comes to software, forcing people to buy the same games (lack of options); or there is an adequate amount of software available and people choose to buy the same games (lack of quality). Which is it?
On topic, the answer to the question asked is PlayStation...

Can Game pass stream over 720p (link please)? Does it offer new games other than the trash Microsoft has been releasing (Third party?)? Does it offer more platforms than Xbox and PC currently (xcloud hasn't launched yet)?
Does Gamepass offer over 200 current gen titles? Does Gamepass offer as many AAA games as it's competition? Does Gamepass even offer over 200 games total? *Hint* No.
People forget that the most importa...
@ gamer7804
What do you mean? Phil Spencer has been in charge of Xbox for almost the entirety of Sea of Thieves and Crackdown 3 game development, they are not last bastions of old leaders. Phil is responsible for those games, not Mattrick. Phil has been head of Xbox for 5 years now (and was head of Microsoft Studios prior). It's time people stop making excuses for him and trying to place blame on the "Old Microsoft". Under his leadership the Xbox userbase dwin...

GTA5 sold an estimated 100 million copies in 5 years across 4 consoles. That's about 5 million copies per year per console (excluding PC so it's actually less). Horizon sold 10 million in 2 years on 1 console. That's 5 million per year. Obviously Horizon won't have the longevity of GTA5, but I hope this puts the numbers in perspective for you. It's very impressive.
@logic
You should hope that more pressure is being applied to Microsoft to release better games. It doesn't matter if they release their first party titles at launch if a majority of them are bad to medicore games. Most gamers aren't looking at Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, and Crackdown 3 and saying "Let me maintain a monthly subscription to Gamepass so I can play these games". No. They are getting Gamepass at severely discounted prices and promos (so...
@ Mrwriter
- As per Microsoft's webpage Gamepass gives unlimited download access to over 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 games. As per Sony's webpage PSNow gives you unlimited download access to over 250 PS4 games alone. So even if Gamepass allows you to download ALL the games as you put it, it's still far less than what you are able to download off PSNow. So that's an advantage for PSNow.
- Nearly all the console exclusives are available on Gam...
Well, according to IGN it did change the game from bad to worse.
@ sitdown
So the same tired franchises that dropped from mid to high 90s, down to 84 (once again heading in the wrong direction). One released almost 2 and a half years ago, the other almost 3 and a half years ago. That's your counter?
@ razziepie
LBP3 is 79 on metacritic, which is not a terrible score. Sony has enough exclusives above 85, a 79 isn't alarming. No need to worry. Now if their last three exclusives couldn't break 70, that might be worrisome.
I have a feeling most of Microsoft studios are going to be slinging mediorce AA quality games to pad Game pass numbers.
Microsoft would kill for one of their exclusives, other than Forza, to average a 7. Sea of Thieves is 69, State of Decay 2 is 66, Crackdown 3 is 62. Clearly heading in the wrong direction, but hey, at some point they can only go up from the bottom.
On topic, if Crackdown 3 is a sequel gamers deserve as the article states, those gamers must have pretty low standards. What were all the delays even for? A half baked, tech demo for cloud based "destruction"?
If Sony doesn’t add games, how does PSNow have more than double the games Gamepass has available (over 600 games available including over 250 PS4 games)? Just because they don’t advertise it like Microsoft, because let’s be honest what else is Microsoft going to advertise, doesn’t mean they don’t add games. That’s the problem with Xbox gamers, they think because Microsoft markets the hell out of Gamepass and is making it their priority, it’s automatically the better service. Gamepass May exce...
@ Darth
MAG is not a battle royale game. I don't even know how you are making the correlation. MAG did not set the stage for battle royale games, it was a completely different type of game. Either you never played MAG or you completely forgot what the game was. You think a huge player count means battle royale? I guess Battlefield is a battle royale game too?
It's funny reading comments here still blaming the Xbox One's underperformance on Don Mattrick and Xbox One launch policies. That was six years ago. The PS3 launched a year later, higher out of pocket cost, and was faced with the 360 having awesome exclusives in the early years; fast forward 6 years and where was Sony? The reason, GAMES. Some people just need to let go of the launch excuse for Microsoft.
It's nice Spencer is acknowledging their poor first party ...
