because they are quite similar to the 360 and ps3 controllers respectively, I currently prefer the 360 controller (apart from that stupid ass battery pack).
With the controllers being very similar, I can only assume the X1 controller is better.
Although, I remember I saw a video on machinima about the controller.

All digital is only going to work, if somehow a game service that acts like netflix is released..
I.e - play as many different games you want for a fixed subscription.
All digital will not work, simply due to file size.
MS keep saying you can share your games with friends and family - what they forget is, to download it digitally is going to take anything from 24 hours to a couple of weeks.

The reason steam is backwards compatible is because in general windows has been using the same architecture, Ie - source code for the processors etc.
With the ps3/xbox they used different architecture to their previous gens.
But the X1 and Ps4 use x86/64bit architecture so if they continue to use this for the generation after, the games could be backwards compatible.
PowerPc is very different to x86/ 63 bit, so the ...

I know a few people who buy a console and play the games that are more 'tailored for single player' eg skyrim, assassins creed, GTA (to an extent).
They do not have a requirement for the internet.

Ive always had AMD/ATI graphics cards.
All have served me very well.
While there are many nvidias that benchmark better, AMD are just better value.
Nvidia are not.
Whilst I am not a big PC gamer anymore, even for standard tasks I would choose an AMD.
For gaming I would still choose an AMD.
Ive had nothing but good experiences with them.
I am looking forward to hear about the new IPs, but as much as I love my xbox 360 - I will not be buying the One in its current state.
And lets face it, the reveal was nothing short of a train wreck, which is exactly what I feel will happen here..
After the exclusive games are announced.
Imagine how much confusion there must be, if they cancelled the roundtable and exec face to face meetings.

I think we need to look at the perception of MS and Sony.
In the current gen, Sony were looked at very skeptically, the high price tag at release the loss of exclusives like GTA early in the gen.
Sony then had a few things like the hack etc.. but they have really taken all these things to heart and gained significant traction towards the end of this gen.
Now lets look at the next gen, Sony have given everything and more of what devs and gamers want..
