Im sure that when the deal was made, and the $50 million was paid, there was a clause in the contract which stated the deal would only be valid if it sold a certain amount of copies/downloads.
Clearly it hasnt, the xbox version hasn't sold many copies. It's a shame, they released it soo late. Thats the main reason its coming out on the ps3 and PC. The remaining loyal fans and hardcore GTA players on the pc and ps3 will purchase the content.

this is a form of price fixing which is ilegal. but ive pre ordered my copy and paid for it.
If this game is £54/$90, then the dlc should be free.
Its appualing that the price has gone up, the developers just want more money. They know how many people will buy the game and want to capitalise on an opportunity. A terrible decision during an economic downturn.

Thats a small way to save money, Sony has slowed down production across all fields, theyve even sold out on their TV's. Samsung used to make the screens for sony tv's thats no longer the case.

this is still one of the greatest games of all time, theyve only missed a few things.
I remember going on rampages in the old games, i would have loved that in this.
A few things were left out because of the whole multiplayer experience. The multiplayer stuff took more data space on the disk and so other things had to be left out.

After NFS underground 2 it just got boring, nothing new.
hopefully the series end this boring rubbish like the drag races where you have to burn youre tires to 'grip'. the older quarter mile drag race in the first nfs underground was good.

DLC is should only be distributed digitally.
E.g The GTA IV expansions came on a disc, someone managed to get a copy like 1 week early, then leak it all over the internet and mod the game so they could cheat by the time it came out for everyone over xbox live. Seriously, its not our fault that MS decided to make an arcade console that doesnt come with a hard drives.
