Yeah, they did a great job with the loading times. It just took them a while.
I think I did make a smart move. I'll get those other consoles when they have the good games, and I can play good games now.
It is really great playing on the gamepad. I can't stress that enough. Our TV is dying right now, all the colours are off (and it's an analogue(we're getting a new one soon)), so games just play a lot better on the gamepad. I only use the TV for multiplayer.

Super Mario 3D World is a good game. Yes, I'm sure, and I'm not waiting for it. I've got it now. Brilliant level design. The PS4 and Xbox One will get their blockbuster titles later, right now they're stuck with Knack and Killzone. That's why I got a Wii U, it's already had time to mature and has great games and more in the future, too. Not just a promise of good games in the future, but no great games to play now.

It's a good game. But not 10/10 good. Something tells me you were incredibly wowed by its graphics, because they're the only part of this game worth a ten.
Yeah, Nintendo could have tons of exclusives in the works for the second half of 2014. They normally don't tell their consumers until the second half of the year.
I don't know about all the Wii U OS stuff, so far Nintendo has been pretty slow to update the Wii U (in 2013 basically all they did was make it stop crashing and speed up the loading times a bit).
I would love every one of the features you suggested, though. I expect we will get folders, and maybe party chat. Everything else is a stretch.
Just finished 3D World, and by God, that game is possibly the happiest game ever created. I was close to crying tears of joy as the credits rolled.

Monolith soft could pull off a good anything. They're a brilliant studio.
It's three years, silly.
But the VITA is failing more than the Wii U is.
And the 3DS is winning more than the PS4 is (and has been for longer).

The swords are too big? The monsters are too big? What have you got against big things? It's not meant to be realistic, hence the giant monsters roaming around. And how are the monsters not cool?
