Nintendo is all about value, maybe their figures will be cheaper (but they'll hold their value well, as Nintendo things always do).
The game looks brilliant, but claiming that one game even has a hope of "destroying" two other systems is a bit overkill, isn't it?
I like the way this studio thinks. AE games? They're totally making fun of EA, and rightfully so.

The Kinect CAN make gaming experience better, but it's difficult for devs to do that, beyond voice commands, because they've still got the normal Xbox controller that the devs would rather use.

The console's only a year old, they're doing pretty well, games-wise. Especially considering the 3rd parties being too scared to release games on it.
I think I might just preorder this as well.
MK 8, Smash Bros., X, Donkey Kong, the inevitable Zelda and the next Metroid are all going to be system sellers. Nintendo just needs to market them well (seriously, what the hell are they doing, marketing-wise?).
I can see the Kinect being optional in the future, but it's already too late to get rid of the gamepad. Too many games use it, and they use it well. I enjoy using the gamepad more than any other controller. I know I wouldn't have bought a Wii U if the gamepad was optional, because no devs would make good use of it.
You use the youtube app? What. Everyone knows the Youtube app on the Wii U is horrible, the browser destroys it at everything.
From what I've heard of the Xenoblade battle system, it's less confusing when you're playing. Videos, when you've had no experience with that battle system, don't do it justice.
Watch a youtube video on the xenoblade battle system, it's based on that so that will help you understand.
And people say the Wii U is underpowered. This game is beautiful. I need it.
