It was an example, but yours was better :D
Indies put out different experiences that I find refreshing. I guess you must be into big AAA blockbuster games, and while they can be fun, it's incredibly refreshing to go from escaping blowing up buildings and shooting enemies to playing a simple 2D sidescroller.
Well, Nintendo knows what's going on at Nintendo best. For all we know there could be a Pokemon MMO in development for the Wii U that could save it. We wouldn't know that, only Nintendo would.
No, that is a terrible idea. The Wii U would have been way ahead of its time, and subsequently horribly overpriced, and the Wii would have problems getting support (since the devs would just make Wii U games). That would mean Nintendo would never have had the massive success that was the Wii, and would have a lot less money (around the same as the Gamecube days).
It would also create a split in their fanbase, so both consoles would end up selling around half of their potential sales....
This article has already been submitted, months ago if I remember correctly. It's just been brought up again to counter all the good news coming out of the investors meeting.
Edit: Wait, it was just an article that's almost exactly the same :/

They're also bringing account-based downloads soon. It was in their investors meeting.
That means you won't even have to contact Nintendo (it's basically Microsoft and Sony's approach).
The games are coming, they just need to market it correctly. Get rid of this negativity towards the console.
Well, yeah, it is the sequel to that. :)
Nintendo 3 Minutes 45.
Oh Gawd I need dis. I need all of them.
My wallet is already crying.
Yeah, I can see a big comeback on the way too. The Wii U certainly has appeal, now they just need to get rid of the negativity associated with the console. Honestly, once people play it they always seem to change their minds about disliking it. I had a friend over recently who thought it was gonna suck, but now he's bought his own since playing it.
Somehow Nintendo needs to market it to show how it's valuable, and more than just a gimmick. It's in a bit of a predicament, w...
Yeah, unless Nintendo decides to focus on other franchises, I can't see Mario ever losing its appeal.
Mario's doing pretty well. Mario's successful, and has been for many years.
Nintendo sure innovates more than any other company. Like I said (and you ignored completely), every Mario game is completely different.
Also, sorry about the Uncharted VITA thing. Totally didn't know that was a different game. My bad. PS3 still has the same amount of Uncharteds as 2D Mario games on the Wii, Wii U and 3DS combined. Also, never called every Uncharted the same, I'm aware there are graphical differences.
Sorry, but it looks like this con...

Haha, who's a idiot now?

I agree, sometimes Nintendo has a lack of attentiveness to it's supporters. Their latest investors meeting was promising, though. It looks like they're really trying to change for the better, one step at a time.
I'm looking forward to finding out what Nintendo does next, because they're always doing stuff that nobody expects. It's exciting. Still waiting on a new Starfox or Metroid. Could announce one any day :)
And you probably either have, or plan on buying a PS4 or XBO. -_-
Why is it dead? It's heading for its best year ever, the way I see it. So many exclusives coming :)
The thing is, all Mario games are different. They only ever release one 2D platformer per console, one 3D platformer, one Mario Kart, and some others every now and then (Dr Mario, Paper Mario, etc.). But they're all completely different. Uncharted and Halo are always very similar, and they release multiple games per console (PS3 had 3 Uncharteds, Xbox 360 had 6 Halo games, Wii had one 2D Mario game, VITA already has 2 Uncharted games).
In no way are they the same, unlike ...
You can do that on the Wii U, but better. No need to split your TV up with that "snap" feature.
