If only they would just show the damn thing lol.
I can't wait, I believe they have said that they're showing it at E3 this year.
Man, E3 can't come soon enough.
You actually can't buy chips slower than what the PS360 had anymore. Unless Nintendo had intentionally gone for a slower chip (which would cost more, anyway (R&D, and the chips would only be used in the Wii U, making it costly and difficult to justify the cost of)).
There's more to that than logic, it would be stupid on Nintendo's part to create a custom chip that's less powerful just for use in the Wii U.
Not that terrible, really, since the GPU is able to take on tasks that only the CPU could do previously. That's why it's known as a GPGPU.
Right now most of the ports have been badly done, the CPU on the Wii U is quite underpowered, but last gen consoles like the 360 used the CPU extensively, while the Wii U needs to use the GPU more. The devs simply dumped the code and let the U's CPU try to do it, when that's not what it was intended for.
It's just a little too different for devs. Maybe in the future we'll get better ports.
But I agree, it is making the Wii U look bad. So far only Ninte...
It's certainly harder than what reviewers are used to. But it's stupid to mark a game down for difficulty.
If anything, mark it up for going against the flow. I actually enjoy challenging games more than easy AAA blockbuster 'splosion pew pew shooters. Just my opinion, though. Some people might now enjoy hard games, but if they dislike them enough to change their score then they shouldn't be reviewing it.
It certainly can't hurt. It changed my friends perspectives on the console. Most of them were asking me if it was a PS4/Xbox One game XD.
I've never really got into VR headsets, but I can see the potential. Right now they're not advanced enough yet, and not enough games support them. They could be great in the future, though.
No.
Stop saying that.
Please be true.
Please.
Oh my, how far we've come.
Probably never, well, at least not with the Mario games that are currently out. A new game could change it, like how NES remix 2 lets you post videos.
NES remix 2 will allow you to post videos to Miiverse. I hope this becomes a trend for games.
There's always going to be a loading screen when you first put the game in, but after that there shouldn't be any, even in open world games (they can hide them). After all, they've gotta do something with that 8 gig of RAM. May as well load a heap of the game on, even parts that probably won't be needed in the immediate future.
Of course they have a chance, however small that chance may be. Everything has a chance. Say, even the Ouya could outsell the PS4 in the coming year. It could, it almost definitely won't, but there is a chance.
If they don't have an E3, they'll definitely have a Nintendo Direct. They're basically E3's.
Doesn't matter, that's different logic. He's using fanboy logic like the article, you're using logic logic.
Hence why he said "By this logic".
I actually don't have a 3DS yet. I know, shame on me. I bought a Wii U and now I'm broke (talk about betting on the wrong horse, am I right?) so I can't afford a 3DS right now.
3DS really is unstoppable. It's crazy how well it's doing.
*Awaits disagrees for saying something positive about Nintendo*
Vita is selling much worse than the Wii U, and lol at you having to resort to the Wii U all the time to belittle the 3DS.
Works both ways, see?
Anyway, this is great for Sony. They really needed something to go right. Hopefully the PS4 can pull them through the tough times they're having right now.
It would be great to have a track editor, even if it was terrible like the stage editor in Brawl.
Speaking about Smash Bros., I wonder if they'll overhaul the editor for the new game? That'd be cool :)
