Why can't MS make a powerful console and at the same support Kinect? It's well within Microsoft's power to do so.
The screen you posted of Gears of War 3 is actually a pretty damn poor representation of what the game actually looks like. I can tell right off the bat you cherry picked that screen shot. These are much better:

What exactly isn't attracting you about it? The facial animations are a BIG step-up from Halo: Reach, we finally have a true 720p Halo with FXAA, and from the looks of things 343 still retained the open-world/sandbox feel of previous Halo games.

Yes, I still agree that the price is a bit steep and should definitely be free. But hey what can you do about it? Sure, you can stop paying for it; but that doesn't stop millions of other people who continue to use & pay for the service.
Also no problem about the deals and all. Like I said, you might at well save yourself a couple of bucks than pay for the full 60. Happy gaming. :)

If you look at sites like newegg and amazon, you could easily save yourself $10 for XBL. Since we're paying for it, you might as well find a deal.
Actually, Naughty Dog still continues to do their full performance capture just like with Uncharted. If you watched the video you can see they were doing in-game voice overs, not Cinematics.

With all things considered, I'd rather take someone who has actually worked on these consoles first-hand than just ignorantly come out and say he's just a "no-name jackass".
But then again, he is just a producer and not a programmer. So I can't tell if he has really dug deep into the technical side of the consoles.
343's new facial animation is definitely something else. It's quite astonishing how well Halo 4 is coming out campaign wise (even with the little amount of info we're getting about it).

I've read through the entire comment section and I did not see a single comment that was said by a 360 fanboy that this game looked better than The Last of Us. The only one that comes close to your statement is solid_si's comment. But even he acknowledged it was the best looking game on console.
