What makes you think Halo will never win a GOTY award? Halo 4 looks really promising; this looks to be the most ambitious Halo game yet. 343 is made up of very talented people and so far the game shows that talent. Of course, arguing about this is pointless since Halo 4 isn't even out yet.

If Halo 4 does really well, it could definitely win GOTY. Looking at games that have been released/will be released, these are the only games (that I have seen/think of) that pose a significant threat to Halo 4 winning GOTY: Borderlands 2, Darksiders 2, Black Ops 2, Hitman: Absolution, Far Cry 3, Assassin's Creed 3, Max Payne 3, Diablo 3, Mass Effect 3, and Sleeping Dogs.

The Halo 2 ranking system while cool, was just a pain in the ass. At least with Halo 3's ranking system you could play by yourself legitimately and rank past a 40. With Halo 2 just trying to get past a 35 was absurd. Anyone with a 40-50 in Halo 2 either boosted or cheated for it.
Ehh, I wouldn't go as far to say that the 360 isn't capable of games like the ones you mentioned. In my opinion multi-platform games like Red Dead Redemption and BF3 prove that the 360 is pretty capable.
In terms of exclusive games, I'll sort of give you that one. But games like Halo: Reach are eye-candy to me because of the open-world aspect it provides to players to roam around in huge open spaces. But that's just my opinion.

I really don't know if I should take away a bubble or mark as spam. All I can say is..... Wow. He went there. LOL!
And that is why I like playing with a group of friends rather than playing with a bunch of randoms. Too many times have I encountered someone killing themselves so that they can bring the teams score down. Or that one person who tries to betray you because you took the weapon or vehicle that they wanted.
Though if there is one thing to note, if you teabag me in a match, I will make it my mission to find and kill you the entire game as well as teabag you. How I roll. lol ;P
Well I mean what kind of difference do you want to see? If you mean gameplay wise, then of course there is no difference. It's Halo. Almost the same formula as every other Halo with an array of new gametypes, weapons, enemies, abilities, etc...
If you mean graphically, then watching the Forge videos would let you see that there are improvements 343 have made such as the addition of dynamic lighting and shadow casting.

Come on man! Stop with this crap already.
A lot of people got bored of playing Halo: Reach because there is really no incentive in playing anymore. One of the biggest reasons is because there is no real ranking system. I play because I still have a lot of friends who play it and I enjoy playing BTB or Team Slayer.
It's back up now. I guess this article will stay at the top since some fanboys want something to argue about.
