Rally driving > F1 > all others
Bring on Dirt or better still, Motorstorm 2.
The massive pre-orders of Halo3 are undoubtedly due to current xbox360 owners and loyal fans of the franchise.
As Haze is a lead release for the Ps3, it gives these owners a quality FPS until KZ2 is released.
I'd prefer to be playing Halo 3 on my Ps3 as well but as that's never going to happen this gen, I have to be happy with the others. Oh well, bring on Haze...and those smart mouth team members.
If you keep hiding and not giving him supporting fire then u damn well are a p*ssy.
hu-ha
Linux could make the Ps3 more attractive if Sony created and installed it's own Linux distribution on its machines - optimized, sleek, fast.
Ps3 = Game console + PC
With Little Big Planet(I'm saying it now, 2008 GOTY)
+ Warhawk, Uncharted, Haze, R&C, HS, SingStar, Eye & Others
will more than satisfy my gaming needs for the next year until the established franchises(MGS, FF, GT etc) and new IPs come out.
It's not how big the list is but its quality....diverse fun games.
So I've always been a fan of Collin Mcrae Rally,TOCA and F1...and Dirt - real driving sims rather than GT or Forza. Those latter games look pretty and have a wide range of cars and I will prob buy them for their simple archady gameplay - and those damn cars - but get real folks:
Other racing games > Forza or GT.
Bring on Dirt - a real driving experience.
Home is an experience in the same way as Second Life and should not be compared to XBL.
But Home needs to be more like a Sims experience with themed worlds/Homes.
You should be able to build entire homes, shops and be part of creating entire neighbourhoods and communties that you roam a city an explore. Add in avatar functions such as running, grabbing, jumping, pushing, kicking, throwing, catching etc or even flying abilities, as well as creatures or animals and vehicle...
I'm now returning to the GT series.
Now we just need a massive customization option and then it will be complete.
Getting the kudos it deserves.
Quite possibly, the GOTY
by using the review for an earlier game on an old gen console.
Talking about idiots. You know who you are.
Geeez
they have already seen and played KZ2 and know for sure that it's just as bad as Killzone and doesn't look like the 2005 trailer. Hmmmmmmm?
C'mon KZ2 bashers, show us your exclusive pictures and videos of you guys playing KZ2 as we all know you love to give us your review of it.
Also, I don't recall saying "every game that sony will release is going to be gifts from God." You got to get off the pot FadeToBlack. It's doing your brain no good.
These were the obvious flaws of Killzone:
Terrible AI
Poor physics
Lots of graphical glitches
Repetitive gameplay
Yet Killzone was still able to get 3/5 stars review with gamespy.com.
All these shortcomings are easily fixed with Killzone 2:
Fiendishly good AI
Stunning Physics
No graphical glitches
No more repetitive gameplay.
Sony is a company that learns from its mistakes and ...
You got what u bought on the disk.
This is additional content(Maps) so if u want to enjoy it then damn well pay for it!
Afterall Insomniac's spent their time and money on these new tidbits when they should've been focussing their full attention on a sequel, fine-tuning R&C or heaven forbid, Spyro.
Geeez
Actually, a revitalized Spyro would be interesting...
Then the xbox 360 will be dirt cheap as well as all their AAA games.
I'm going to wait till 2010 before I finally buy my xbox 360 and enjoy all those great games.
Likewise, over 50 million Ps2 owners are going to wait until the price drops....
as it happened with the ps1....
as it happened with the Ps2....
as it will happen with the Ps3.
But which console are they going to buy? By then the Ps3 will have a large library of qual...
But gameplay - apart from new toys such as the man cannon - is going to be the same as the original Halo except with better graphics. Halo is starting to get some serious competition for FPS multigaming with games such as RFOM....or even Haze & KZ2.
Warhawk is going to be a surprising HIT and will be a real challenger to H3 with its simple, fast, fun net play.

Get it from the horse's mouth at the end of the video:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=...
Ps3 owners get to enjoy the full glory - no half-hearted port here - of a great new shooter while the xbox360 users a have their fun with H3
Then when the H3 hype has run its course, Haze will be released to xbox etc.
Only logical really. The developers aren't going to miss out on sales o...
Wii's sales r rocketing due to the price, the controller, the type of games.
These can all be copied, modified and adapted by the next gen consoles. And they certainly will especially with the EVOLUTION of the controller.
Undoubtedly, Sony will bring out its own version of the Wii controller in future gen consoles as gamers demand to be more involved in the gaming experience.
So copy, modify, adapt anything that clearly works. Commonsense really. ...
They've been crap...nothing like marketing/advertising crews used for the Ps2.
Although a price cut will obviously result in increasesd sales, what will really get those black boxes flying off the shelves will be quality games that'll have people just wanting to play.
With the exclusives KZ2. MGS, FF, HS, R&C, LBP, Uncharted, Warhawk, Singstar, Calling all Cars, Folklore, Home, Lair out by dec/jan

Sony did back off a bit with Linux. They were suggesting that they would preload Linux. They should have simple developed their own distribution of Linux that was optimized for the Ps3 and had it preloaded on all SKUs.
Then the Ps3 would have been a serious gaming machine and mini-PC.
Afterall, you've just made a comment on an article you'v read or a video watched. What else needs to be said? Unless you like to flame.
