But damn! When I saw the CoD4 trailer/gameplay you have to give credit when credits due. It rocked. Thankfully, Kz2 is alpha so it's going to get a whole lot better.
A lot of kids are going to be begging their parents to get a Ps3 when this little beauty comes out. And combined with a price drop/packages for the holiday/new year break LBP is going to be a major console seller.
But a lot of adults will be wanting this game as well. It's a simple, highly creative fun game ....and Sackboy and Co are so f*ckn adorable.
Remember to pre E3 leak from a Sony employee about KZ2 rocking and Lair looking good but the gameplay was so so.

It's would be more cost effective to have a single standard HDD of a size that you can get cheap from suppliers.
The fact is, the size of the HDD is not a major part of the Ps3 price. The BD player is and we know that's not going to be removed or replace with a DVD player. In addition, buyers can easily upgrade themselves to higher capacity HDD for < $100.

The price cut is coming. We've always known this as it always happens. But Sony is most likely still making losses on each console sold. So until they get production costs down and sell more games, we just have to be patient. The price will stay high to reduce the losses until they can make cheap consoles and the games come and start selling well.

Halo is a proven AAA franchise. It is a shooter that has gotten everything right - Visuals, gameplay, Sound, MP, story. It's one of those rare games that is as close to perfection as you can get.
The original KZ should have never been compared to Halo. Although both are shooters they are a different type - Halo more stylized and archady whereas Killzone is more grittier & realistic.
It should have been compared to similar shooters such as Black, Ghost Recon,...

There's always been a $600 ps3...but it's now 80G with a limited offer free game. Nothing's going back up. Nowhere did Sony say there was a worldwide permanent price drop.

As it's a shooter and timed exclusive then if you have a ps3 and want a shooter then you have this, UT and COD4, Warhawk to chose from before year's end.
If you love shooters you'll buy all four. And if you have an xbox 360....well....we already know you've pre-ordered Halo 3.
